Our guide was pleasant, very informative, and spoke excellent English. Kamakura is well worth seeing, and the Hase temple was one of the prettiest and most photogenic sites I had visited in Japan. The Great Buddha was awesome, and the Kotokuin Temple was also very impressive. The included meal, while not memorable, was quite satisfactory, and altogether it was a day well spent.

It was pouring with rain the day we did this tour, but it was still great. The guide we had was very informative.

Trip was well-organized. Was nice to be able to be picked up at my hotel. When I later found out that the train ride home would stop at the train station very near to my hotel, it was also nice to be able to end the trip there and not have to double back. Lunch was nice. Good tour guide - excellent English handled group introductions well. Good allocation of time for the various activities. Didn't feel rushed. Good value for the money.

A lot of walking, but definitely an experience worth doing.

We had an excellent tour guide in Kamakura and pick up service at our hotel was right on time. We did this tour outside of our tour group in Tokyo, and we were told we saw a lot more than they did on their half day tour. You really need the full day tour to fully enjoy Kamakura.

A great tour! It would be nice to have more shopping time in the city.

I found the city interesting, with delicious meals and tea. BUT, the tour guide could have been more informative. At the end of the tour he told us what car we would be going on for the trip home, but he was walking so fast some of us lost sight of him and we went on the wrong trip. We were able to contact the tour guide and let him know that we changed trains. Everyone thought he would be waiting for us at the train station in Tokyo, but he was not. I think for the walking tour, it is very important that the guide holds his flag up high and walks slow enough for all to stay near him. The tour itself was interesting and the beautiful weather contributed to a good day.
