this was a wonderful way to experience mt. fuji how exciting to see all the people who climb her at the fifth station! as well as surrounding local areas full of japanese charm. :o. i especially enjoyed lunch which was above a store specializing in inden which are products made out of deerskin decorated with lacquer. very unique and very beautiful, GREAT omigyage to take back home. i only wish it had been a little bit clearer in hakone so that we might have seen mt. fuji in all her majesty. that just means we'll have to come back. .
Unfortunately it was cloudy so we couldn't see anything. I would recommend being conscious of the weather. The tour guide was an absolute doll. She was apologetic about the weather but there were other things shrines/shopping/boat ride to keep us occupied.
Awesome tour. Very informative, friendly tour guide can't remember her name. The view of Mt. Fuji from the 5th station was awesome, save for the thick clouds that surrounded it. The lunch was a cute bento style lunch in a cute multi-tiered ceramic. The cruise on the lake in Hakone was short, but relaxing and beautiful. Going up the mountain in a cable car was cool, but , in my opinion, too many people were packed in the car. The view from the top was awesome though. Highly recommended
Our guide, Mika-San was so friendly! Excellent English, very enthusiastic and informative. Driving on the bus for long periods of time, however our guide made it fun by telling us a lot about Japan! Itinerary was slightly changed due to weather conditions but it was still an amazing experience!!
Our tour guide Marie is wonderful, funny and really made sue everyone is on schedule and have a great time. She is an excellent team leader. She also explained a lot about Japanese customs and other sightseeing tips. Great tour. Too bad it is summer and Fuji rarely shows her face. The boat cruise on Lake Ashi in Hakone is breathtaking.
We were picked up from our hotel and rode the same coach all throughout the day which was extremely convenient as we could leave our heavy belongings on board. Our guide was amazing and had a brilliant command of the English language. We could also easily share our photos in real time with family and friends back home thanks to the complimentary wifi on the bus. The sights were breathtaking and truly something worth doing and seeing. The lunch was also superbly delicious and the portions were more than generous. After a full day out, we were dropped back a stone's throw away from our hotel and our ever accommodating guide graciously explained to each and every one of us how we could make our way to where we wanted to go next.
Had an excellent trip. Initially we were all disappointed that Mt Fuji 5th station was closed for fire drill, so we stopped at 4th station. Being summer, mt Fuji appeared as an ordinary brown mountain. But after lunch, as we came out of the restaurant, we saw Mt Fuji in the clouds. After Lake Ashi, we saw her again in the clouds. Then as we were going up the Ropeway, Mt Fuji kept appearing and disappearing in the clouds. Spectacular. The weather is something out of our control. we were just lucky to have seen Mt Fuji so many times that day.
Very enjoyable. The tour was very interesting and lunch was super good.
The weather was horrible. Hakone was closed for the day. Fortunately our guide was able to prepare a new itinary, and we were able to do the rope way climbing and the cruise ship in another place than Hakone. We were able to get to mount Fuji too. They are well organized and the trip was wonderful despite the weather.
This was a great tour! We got clear views of Mt. Fuji which I hear is not always the case.
Terrific! The guide was extremely efficient, knowledgeable, and very organized. Her English was excellent, and she also gave us lots of interesting historic and cultural background about the Mountain.
A great day out - Mt Fuji was just visible through the fog on the day we visited, but it was still a great sight to see. Our guide was very interesting and the included lunch was very good. We left the tour at Odawara and took the bullet train to Kyoto, which was very easy and our guide helped make sure we got where we needed to go.
We were lucky and had perfect weather. This was a very good tour and despite being a long day was really worth it. Our tour guide was very good and entertained us along the way.
Spending our April birthday with my lovely bf, it was a great experience with the team and absolutely wonderful sight seeeing tour. Take the japanese lunch meal, you will feel full after. Cable car Hakone were cool too, it will take you up so high! Lol
The tour along with the tour guide Marie was the luckiest, as we headed first and reached the 5th Last station of Mt Fuji. It was windy that time, -6 degrees, snowy and we were all freezing, but still managed to take some photos
Japanese people are so lovely and nice. I want to come back here soon.
This was a great deal trip. Birthday gift!
Excellent day out, good value with lunch and trip on the lake included plus Hakone ropeway. Taki was our brilliant English speaking guide, really friendly and welcomed questions. Yes, we saw the top of Fujisan for most of the day - RESULT! Wonderful photos and memories.
The tour was so worth it! Itinerary for the day was on time. Hiro our tour guide was so helpful. The tour was educational since Hiro was able to share a lot...
Happened to have clear skies so we enjoyed the beautiful view of Mt Fujiyama. The guide conducting the tour was professional
