It was OK, but could have been better

Wasted trip. Did not manage to catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji due to weather. As such, the trip ended much earlier. Should have brought the tour to another site, e.g. the peace pagoda, since the operator known the bad weather at departure.

Nice tour, but we didn't get very close to Mt. Fuji and the trip was very rushed. We could have used more time at each stop.

The hotel pickup and bus station portion is well planned and orchestrated. A very full bus, including very uncomfortable seating for larger passengers and no options for reseating. Trip up to Mt. Fuji was interesting, with nice scenery and a pleasant guide. The mountain was in the clouds, so visibility was limited. Only about 15 minutes at 5th station, mostly a souvenir stop. Lunch was good. Trip to Hakone was OK but not great scenery. No stop in Hakone, and we never saw the hot pot area shown in the promotional page. Boat ride was very short and not on one of the boats shown on the website, just a nondescript large pleasure boat. Walk up from lake shore to ropeway was very brisk, very steep, and too hurried for many in our group. Ropeway also obscured by poor visibility, and we had very little time, and there was nothing to see at the top. Ride back to Tokyo long and in the dark. OK, but it would have been more pleasant with more comfortable seating. Drop-off on a street corner in Ginza or outside the Shinjuku bus station. Guides help prepare you for trip back to hotel, but unless you're familiar a little, it is difficult.

Unfortunately Mt Fuji was covered in cloud and the wind was extremely strong. We enjoyed the boat cruise and cable car ride. It was a long day as we were one of the first picked up in the morning. The lunch was tasty and a in a great venue. Luckily we were familiar with the train system to get back to the hotel at the end of the day.

The tour guide was a little boring. There was no difference from when we had a video introducing places of interest on the coach. The road condition is unpredictable. I'll recommend taking the train back, as we were experienced very bad road jam on the way back, despite it being on a Monday. However, Mt Fuji is beautiful.

The trip to Fuji is great but the rest of the trip was a waste of time. The afternoon is filled with tourist shopping and inconsequential attractions - boat trip is 7 minutes on the water if you are lucky.

It said 'wheelchair accessible' and I have stated in my booking that my mum is in a wheelchair, but the bus arranged is just a normal tour bus. Luckily my mum is not totally immobile, otherwise I can't imagine how we could finish the trip. The driver and tour guide were very helpful. The content of the Chinese pre-recorded tape is not updated.

Long coach rides and short visits - the time on Fuji was way to short.

Perhaps poor weather was a factor but there wasn't a lot of pizazz in this tour. The lunch was nice but would have preferred a Japanese meal. The tour guide was very good though a bit abrupt in her style.

This tour was very badly done. It was supposed to be an 11-12 hour tour, but they did it in just over 10 hours by rushing us constantly. e.g at the first stop they gave us 15 minutes, and told us we had to use the restrooms there because we could not use any further up the mountain. With there being only 4 stalls in the ladies', and several coaches of people present, it took my wife 12 minutes to wait in line at the restroom so that she had only 3 minutes to run around trying to see everything. Ridiculous! Others who were behind her in line saw nothing of the stop at all. You should NOT have to choose between going to the restroom or seeing the sights that you traveled for hours to get to. If they had used the full 11 12 hrs instead of trying to have a shorter day and cheat us out of what we had paid for, there would have been adequate time to see mt Fuji etc. This trip was a complete waste of time & money.
