This is the 1 thing to do if you ever visit Tokyo! It's great to get out into the country and see another side of Japan. It's really great to have an English guide too, someone you can ask all sorts of questions in general about Japan, since very few people speak English in Tokyo. Taking the Shinkansen bullet train back to Tokyo is such an awesome experience by itself! This tour is really a great value, especially for all that you do and see. Mount Fuji was covered with clouds the day we went, so we only got to see the mountain itself when we were above the clouds at the 4th station, but we were still very very glad we went on this tour and enjoyed it immensely!!!!! I very highly recommend this tour!

Fantastic! Worth every penny! The guide speaks fairly good English and has a good sense of humour. The whole trip was very well planned and entertaining.

The tour guide was absolutely the best, he was insanely knowledgeable, humurous and helped the more shy tour members navigate. Absolutely great, highly recommended.

Great trip, well worth it!! Come back on the bullet train, you won't regret it. The tour guide made the whole day, he was great, a real gem who should be in show business! If you go to Tokyo you must do this trip, value for money.

We really enjoyed the trip. The mountain was clear and beautiful. The boat ride was great, and the tram was spectacular. All in all, we had a wonderful trip. I highly recommend the bullet train too, as it's very easy to get back to your hotel from any of the stations.

We were picked up from the hotel on time. The company was professional and the bus was very comfortable. The tour guide was fantastic and spoke great English. Seeing Mt. Fuji on a clear day is something I will never forget. Thanks.

This was a great value and a great day out, with plenty to interest and entertain. Bad weather prevented us from going further up Mt. Fuji than the fifth station, which was a bit of a disappointment, as frankly there is not a great deal more to see at this level. However, the lake trip and the cable car are all good fun, especially climbing the two hundred or so steps in deep snow to get to the shrine on the top of Mt Komagatake. We thought the lunch was poor, so we bought some cakes to make up for it! Returning by Bullet Train topped off this great day. As usual with these trips, you need to get back to your hotel on your own, but the guide gives clear directions as to how to use the metro, so it's absolutely no problem.

Great experience. It was winter and we got spectacular views of Mt Fuji even if we could not get to the 5th level observation area. Hakone and the hot springs were wonderful. Bullet train ride would have been better if there were assigned seating so that the tour group could sit together. Winter ensures the bullet train ride is at night - so it wasn't as spectacular as I would have imagined. While we needed to use the subway to get back to our hotel our tour guide made 100 percent sure that we knew what to do and that we got on the right line. Great time.
