If weather is good, then you can go up to Station 5 but otherwise there are restrictions on all other days. The mountain is more epic from a distance anyway...

Mt Fuji can usually be seen clearly from the top of the Hakone Komagatake Ropeway (cable car), sadly not on the day we were there!

From the top of the Hakone Komagatake Ropeway cable car the views of Mt Fuji should be amazing, sadly it wasn't to be on this day.

The tour guide always kept us entertained. She directed us in making some origami on the way down the mountain. She also showed us some of the trick boxes they make locally in the region around the lake (and available for purchase from merchants at the lake).
