The day we went to do this tour, we could not see Mount Fuji because of the fog, but it was still great.

This was the perfect day trip. I was only in Japan for 2 days but felt that I was able to see so much without feeling rushed. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. I met some great people from Australia and the UK. The view of Mount Fuji from Mount Komagatake was surreal. We had good weather. Mount Fuji looked as though it was floating on clouds. The memories of this one day will last a lifetime.

What can I say? The view of Mt. Fuji and the experience gained is priceless. It was definitely worth every cent paid. We were very fortunate as the day of the tour started bright and sunny. Our guide for the Tokyo bay cruise told us that she had been to Hakone six times but never had the chance to view Fuji-san, so we considered ourself blessed to be able to see the sunset on Fuji-san. The sight of Fuji-san as the sun set from Mt. Komagatake was breathtaking, and we wished we could stay there forever. It was like heaven with the clouds below us. The cruise on Lake Ashi was wonderful, and the guide was very knowledgeable and patient.

Blessed with a beautiful day and a guide who spoke English very well; the day was full, educational and fun. We even had time for origami on the bus. I do recommend this tour - it's a great way to see the countryside and get a flavor of this area of Japan. The bullet train back to Tokyo is the way to go - by the time the sun sets, you are ready to get back, relax and reflect back on the wonderful day.

Luckily for us, the weather was good, and it was THE perfect day to see Fuji, even though we could only go to the 1st station due to SNOW!!

We had a very good view of Mount Fuji. Hakone was beautiful, especially with the cable car. We loved it.

From the start I thought this would be fun. The tour guide was informative, intelligent and fun to listen to. The scenery was breathtaking, Mt. Fuji was clear from cloud, and the short 15 minute Lake Ashi cruise showed the beauty of the countryside with the changing colours of trees, and classic Edo-style buildings.

The scenic cruise ride and view of Mount Fuji were magnificent. The cableway to the top of the mountain to view the lake below was absolute beautiful.

Excellent tour. Diverse tour package. I enjoyed every phase, but seeing Mt. Fuji from the observation area was the highlight. Our guide was friendly, entertaining and very knowledgeable. This was a good opportunity to see more than Tokyo while in Japan. I consider this a must-do tour. I had a great time on this tour. I'll never forget it.

Really good day. The tour guide was interesting and very informative. We learned so much about the area as well as the history and geography of Japan. We would thoroughly recommend the tour.

This was a wonderful trip. The weather cooperated--low clouds, and when we arrived at Station 5 we were above the clouds and Fuji was bathed in sunshine!! The opposite mountain range was very photogenic as well, with the clouds below the snowcapped peaks--perfect picture taking! A weekday was also in our favor, with traffic not heavy!!
In addition to these two factors, our guide was so great--knowledgeable, good sense of humor, kept us engaged all the way with his history, politics, visual aids, and even teaching origami! He was terrific!
The day was full of varied activities--the ferry on the lake, beautiful fall color on shore, the "ropeway" gondola, wonderful bento box lunch, no waiting for anything! Then the Shinkansen ride back to Tokyo! It was a day full of firsts for us and a very pleasant meeting with the culture. I would say it was the highlight of our week in Japan!
The trip of a lifetime. Perfectly well organised and an opportunity to see so many amazing sites in one day.
