An awesome guide filled with facts - and pretty funny, too! The trivia game on the bus back was a nice treat. The Japanese lunch was very good and diverse so there was something for everyone - and a lot of it I thought. It was nice to sit and meet with other tourists from other countries at lunch, too. Nikko was beautiful - I think I took the most pictures of the whole trip there. The carvings, statues, and ceilings are so intricate and colorful - just amazing! We got lucky on this trip as well with a horse archery shogun festival. The lake and falls were beautiful and we got there right before sunset for perfect pictures. It was a little cold, though, so bring a jacket if it's Oct or later.

A good tour, our guide was most informative. My only complaint was that it was a little too fast, not enough time to take good photos, and I lost the guide several times. The meal was great.

The tour was great, well paced, and we had a helpful guide. The Japanese lunch was a highlight, and there was time to see the features without any pressure to go to any souvenir shops. Those shops that were at Kegon falls were quite reasonable, obviously aimed at the local tourist. Finding the Hamanastusko Bus Terminal from Daimon Subway station was not immediately obvious, but fortunately I had looked at Google maps to get an idea before leaving home.

Great trip. Even though it's a long drive, it's certainly worth it. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and gave us numerous insights into Japanese life past and present. All in all certainly worth going on.

The tour was well organized and the guide was super friendly. It was nice to have someone do the planning for us and see the beautiful country side. Would definitely recommend!

We both thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Our guide was excellent and prepared us very well for what we were to see at the shrine. The lunch was delicious, and I really can't fault the whole experience.

Wow! Toshogu Shrine is absolutely amazing. The trip is worth it just for this site. I would like to have been given more free time at this site and less or no time at Lake Chuzenji and less time at Kegon Waterfall. Those were major anticlimaxes after Toshogu.

This was great, but a long day. We did get pictures of two monkeys, and the scenery was beautiful.

Nikko is a beautiful place; it was hammering with rain when we were there, and yet it still looked beautiful, which I think is something of an achievement! The tour guide was brilliant, and everything ran very smoothly. I highly recommend this tour!
