Nikko was beautiful and visit to the Toshogu Shrine, lake and waterfall were simply breathtaking! Our tour guide was excellent and even entertained us by showing us how to fold a warrior helmet using origami craft paper. Definitely recommendable!

I have traveled a lot, and I am always looking for something that will surprise me. The Toshugu Shrine is one of those places! Our tour guide was very professional and she entertained us during the bus trip with information about Japan today, historical facts etc. I highly recommend the trip!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and also very pleasant and polite and went out of her way to give us additional information on life in Tokyo. I know where I can buy beautiful Japanese lamps in the future.

We had a great time! The tour guide made the 2.5 hour bus ride go so fast with lots of interesting facts on Japan. The scenery was gorgeous, and the temples were fantastic! We had a wonderful day out!

Very pleasant guide. Beautiful trip. However, the time available to spend at the shrine was a little too short to see all of it. The trip itself was well organized.

The national park is definitely worth seeing, and the temple is really a must if you're into that sort of thing. Really amazing quality in a very special place. The tour operator did a very good job. The guide worked hard all the way on the bus to educate us about everything both about the journey and sites and about what we were going to see at the destinations. It was also filled with good bits of general knowledge about Japan. Our guide's knowledge and personality were excellent. The lunch was very good quality and at a nice place. Overall the whole trip is excellent value for money - it would probably cost you more to do it yourself, and you wouldn't get the benefit of all the local knowledge. Well worth doing!

If you have never been to Japan this trip gives you a good insight into their culture and great views of their country side.

We would recommend this trip. The guide was excellent. We just wish we had more free time to explore on our own. With so much to see, we felt a little rushed. Overall, though, it was great.

The weather was awful, however, our guide was so nice and so well documented that we were able to enjoy our trip in spite of the heavy rain and cold. The site is "grandiose" and worth spending a complete day.
