The trip was very good, unfortunately, while the rain poured down, it didn't spoil the day. The low cloud base didn't let us see the Kegon Waterfall or Lake Chuzenji, but once again, everything was well organized.

It was a wonderful experience, beautiful sights and a lovely lunch. However, on this trip there are about 200 steps to hike up. The steps are quite high, and it was difficult for some of the participants to manage the stairs. Maybe the difficulty should be mentioned in the description of the trip.

I enjoyed it greatly. The sites were wonderful to visit, though the tour guide could have been more informative and knowledgeable about the locations.

The Nikko temples and lunch in Nikko town were excellent, and the 48 hairpins on the way to the lake were fantastic. It was beautiful in the mountains.

Lots of time on a bus even if the scenery is interesting, so less time than ideal to see sights at Nikko, but well orchestrated. And definitely worth the trip.

It rained that day, but Nikko's site's are worth seeing. Kegon Waterfall is beautiful, but not overwhelmingly so. Sunrise tour guides need to try to wait for most of the group to be there before they start their comments and to make sure they're easy to find.

A good day trip, though it took a little longer to get there than I expected. The Shrine is very interesting but the lake and waterfall are time fillers. The guide was very good.

Final destination was fine but did not realize the bus ride was so long each way.

We enjoyed this trip. Our tour guide was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour.

Nice trip. Tour guide was fantastic. I learned more about Shoguns and Emperors of Japan than I ever imagined. He was funny, interesting and very, very informative. I would love to have stayed overnight in Nikko. Why not do a trip with an optional overnight stay. I also think the bus should have a toilet for the customers to use, although the stop on the expressway is a nice touch and should be continued. I'd definitely recommend this trip to friends.

Be prepared for a long bus trip nearly 2 hours out to Nikko National Park. The tour guide was terrific, filling us in with all the facts about Japan throughout the whole trip. Watch out for the monkeys at the Kegon Waterfall - they will try and grab your handbags! The 20 hairpin turns up the mountain was not as bad as I thought it would be and the views were fantastic.

Only the misty weather in Nikko stopped it being a 4 star excursion.

The tour itself was great however the quality of the lunch venue was extremely low-grade.

We had the best time on this trip. The guide made it worth the trip for all of the history in English. Nikko was gorgeous and the waterfalls, food, and comfortable motorcoach ride were enjoyable. Very well organized.

Tour guide was trail blazing through the sites and didn't wait to gather participants, very rushed and needs improvement. Lunch was mediocre. Disliked being herded like cattle when checking in for tours. Do we look like sheep?
