Booked this especially for my teenage son and although they found the location of the session a bit of a surprise (its in a slightly industrial area) both he and my husband really enjoyed their session.
Highly recommend this experience if you have some time spare in Tokyo. When booking I was a bit concerned that it would be a bit silly and gimmicky, but the time we spent in the dojo was anything but. We learned about the weapons and techniques of a ninja before getting to have a go ourselves. Informative, fun and I can now defend myself with a chopstick, can't say fairer than that.
This is fun and good team building. It is even more fun if you know people in your group.
Great tour! Went with a 15yr and 14yr kids. They enjoyed it very much. Initially, we thought it might be very touristy but turns out it's very realistic and informative and fun. Sense I was serious but very obliging and patient. The whole environment and atmosphere was great and dispelled a lot of typical myths about ninja that we picked up from the movies. We now know how to properly throw shurikens, use the blowgun and understand a lot more about other weapons, techniques and philosophy a out ninja. Great experience and highly recommended.
An interesting, educating and entertaining morning. Enjoyed the history and the ninja stars muchly! A unique cultural experience.
