If you love fish - fresh fish - you must visit the Tokyo Fish Market. Simply amazing. If you don't like fish, you really should stay away from this place.

This was an excellent, informative tour, and our guide was brilliant.

Our guide was EXCELLENT! He did everything--and MORE--that I would expect from a guide. I really appreciated his experience and attention to detail.
The tour itself was lacking. Too much time to wander about on one's own. The fish market was a bore as we were only allowed in the retail section, so we never saw all the fish being sold other than boxes of it on pallets--and we'd only know that was fish by the marking on the exteriors! Why bother to take us there so that we could wander amongst the retail vendors of mostly dried fish stuff? Having lunch there was a chore too.
The Edo Museum is excellent, but a volunteer docent took us through. Our guide didn't have a thing to do. We could have taken a cab to the door and had the same experience!
Liked going up in the tall building for an overlook of the park and the Imperial Palace. A good place to start. The time spent walking about the garden was OK, but could have been condensed into a stop at the tea room and a little walk about, which should have included the 300-year-old pine and a stop at the gardens if in bloom.
Basically a $10 tour for $50. Sorry, but you asked for my thoughts!
