The castle was off limit and it rained on us but love every minute of it.
Tokyo is an amazing city stayed at Royal Shiodome hotel with a view of Tokyo Tower and located near metro and rail network for convenience. Hotel pick was aTokyo is an arranged for the Tokyo tour highlights included Meiji Shrine, Asukasa Temple. Followed by Tokyo Bay Cruise for amazing city views of sky line and the Sky tree in the distance. After disembarking at city centre went up the towering Sky Tree telecom tower for breathing views of the iconic places. Later went to Tokyo museum and the Sumo stadium by metro. Overall, I had fantastic time Tokyo especially at Tjsike market and Sushi restaurants where sushi masters served selection of delightful sushi. Returned to the amazing night time views of Tokyo tower and night cap.
Great guide and get to see only a glimpse of what Tokyo has to offer.
Tour was a great experience to see different sites in Tokyo! Very knowledgable guide!!!
This was our first introduction to the city. A good guide, well informed about Tokyo. The trip down the Sumida River was relaxing after riding on the bus.
This is wonderful tour to take as you get to see Tokyo in a short timeframe. Although it rained for most of the tour the sun came out as we cruised on the Sumida River.
Our tour guide was wonderful
Tour was extremely interesting - guide was excellent !
River tour which was part of this tour was not of any interest and could in my opinion be withdrawn from the itinary
The tour was a great way to see the city sights plus get a feel for the place. In the morning we did our own thing which we just seem to walk to streets so we were really looking forward to having an experienced driver and guide take us around. We covered quite a lot in our tour and the guide was very good with his local knowledge and history.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of useful information about Tokyo throughout the trip, he even taught us how to count to ten in Japanese. The trip was a great way to see some of the sights of Tokyo. The world trade centre and Asakusa were particularly good. The boat trip was ok but a bit boring. However it was nice to say that we had sailed on the Sumida river. We would definitely recommend this short trip to anyone visiting Tokyo for a few days.
Enjoyed the tour so much! Our 10 years and 6 years old loved it as well! Thank you so much for our guide Nobu san :)
Tour was a good introduction to Tokyo on our first day, guide was good and was just enough information
Nice touch.Good variety of activities, Great guide. Great way to see parts of Tokyo
My wife and I really enjoyed this tour of Tokyo. The visit to the top of the World Trade Buildsing was really marvellous with a full 360 degree view of Tokyo from 40 floors up! The brief stop at the Imperial Gardens was very enjoyable, with some super views of the outer de moat area of the Imperial Palace. We loved the tour's inclusion of a Shrine and street market where there were lots of tempting Japanese souvenirs.... The Sumida River cruise was a wonderful way to end the tour with spectacular views of the Tokyo waterfront. The guide was a lovely person, highly informative and willing to answer all kinds of questions put to her!
For us, this was a super introduction to Tokyo.
Quick highlight of Tokyo as described. Do this if you have no time to spare in Tokyo. You get to see the Kaminari Gate and walk outside of the palace. You can only go into the palace at 2 dates (don't remember when). Go when the cherry blossoms bloom so you get to see them when you are on the cruise.
Beautiful. The guide was professional and enchanting. The views of the Sakuras
as well as that from the sky tower were magnificent. I recommend it totally.
