Tokyo Morning Sightseeing Tour

This morning sightseeing tour offers the perfect bite-sized taste of the many intriguing sights of Tokyo, allowing a quick introduction to some of its top cultural and commercial attractions. This fascinating city tour, offering visits to both the city’s ancient temples and modern marvels, is sure to delight.
Begin your excursion with pickup from select hotels in the morning, proceeding to the tour meeting point at Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal for a 9am departure. Continue by bus to the Tokyo Tower, where you’ll enjoy stunning panoramic vistas over this massive city and its surrounding environs. Then head back down to earth to the Imperial Palace, where you’ll have time for a quick photo opportunity in front of this famous home of the Japanese Emperor.
Continue next with a stop at the ancient Asakusa Kannon Temple, (also called Senso-ji) a famous religious landmark that is the city’s oldest Buddhist sanctuary. Then take a drive through Akhibara, an atmospheric neighborhood of glowing neon full of electronics vendors selling all forms of appliances and computer gear.
Proceed on to Ueno, a lovely section of Tokyo known for its many parks, temples and museums, as well as the famous Ameyoko street, which hosts a well-known market. You’ll also stop by Nakamise street, another celebrated shopping area lined with vendors selling traditional Japanese souvenirs and snacks, and visit Ginza, the legendary district of luxury shopping boutiques and designer fashion.
Conclude your whirlwind Tokyo adventure with drop-off at Tokyo Station, where you can catch a train or continue exploring the city on your own.

I was the only person on the tour and I had 2 guides. They were great. We walked all over in the financial district - into a department store - through a temple- stopped at a tiny bar for a drink - went down Drunkard's Ally. They helped me buy a ticket on the Metro and took very good are of me during the while tour.
