It was a great tour with a great guide but Viator coupon stated that pickup and drop off was included which was not the case only pickup was included - a problem for people that have yet experienced / got used to the Tokyo transportation systems.
Excellent, only problem was the instructions on how to return on the train were a little deficient, got lost.
We where so glad we took this tour , we would never have seen as much as we did without the thoughly knowledgable tour guide she was lovely and she was also able to advise us on further directions and restaurants . We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tour
This tour was beyond my expectations and excellent value for money. I added the meal option and assumed that we would be taken to "just a restaurant" - but in fact we were taken to a nearby hotel and treated to a 5 star meal.
The guide went out of her way to help us enjoy our trip and spent as much time as we needed with
us before she went home.
The next time I go to Tokyo I shall definitely book this trip again.
I would recommend it to all.
went in september, and a competition was taking place, great seat, great time.
well worth it.
An absolute must!!! Without doubt one of the highlights of our 14 day trip.
Our friendly guide was very informative and add a new dimension to an already amazing experience.
SUMO??? A cultural experience we shall never ever forget.
Wonderful experience, background info from guide was very helpful in learning the basics of the sport.
Tour guide was knowledgeable. Awesome view of the bouts. Lots of souveniers and food available in the lobby. This was worth the time and money.
We really enjoyed the Sumo and the Viator tour was a great way to experience it. Our guide was Miki and she was excellent. She gave us lots of information about the sport and the players. During the matches she walked around to make sure everyone knew what was going on. Highly recommended!
Great experience! Highly recommended. You don't even need the english radio! Just watching the bouts themselves are very exciting. Guide Shima-san was very informative and would answer any questions you have on Sumo wrestling. Would definitely go again!
Well worth the cost. Enjoyed the atmosphere. Also learning about the sumo traditions and how much dedication goes into becoming a sumo.
Tour guide was excellent
Loved it! Excellent tour guide, informative gave us a good general knowledge of what was going on during the competition. Thoroughly recommended.
Awesome experience, really knowledgable and helpful tour guide (Mitchiko), highly recommended!
Great experience. Highly recommended for any visitor. The tour guide was excellent.
Meki was our tour guide and very informative and friendly. We had a great time. Would definitely recommend the tour to anyone. Must see.
Second time I took this tour. It continues to be an excellent venue. I was unsuccessful booking tickets directly online for the last day of the Tokyo Basho. Fortunately, Viator was the only source which had tickets. Love sumo and the last day was quite exciting with a playoff for the title.
Great to hear our local guide's background on sumo as a national sport. The radios with English language broadcast at the tourney helped us get engaged the same way as if we were at a baseball game!
Really good tour, guide had a high level of knowledge of Sump and spoke good english.
Well worth it. A fascinating and memorable experience. The Chanko dinner was interesting , not so fussed about fish eyes..
An excellent tour embracing tradition, suspense, color and excitement. We were at the opening ceremony which was fantastic. We had our 10yr old daughter with us-she loved it but was frightened when she met one in the corridor. Our Guide was wonderful, she explained traditions, the rules and was so insightful-a great guide. This is a definite 'MUST do' when you visit Japan.
