A great way to see the city in 1 day. The tour guide was great and made the tour fun. Thanks!

Worth the money, except for the walk through the temple area which was too packed with people and not enough time to shop.

The guide was knowledgeable and courteous but for this trip I think the group was too large and time too rushed. However, we did accomplish everything the trip advertised. Lunch was excellent and met many people from all over the world on this trip.

A good overview of the city plenty of time to see all the stops. Very knowledgeable tour guide, we would never have seen all these things on our own.

It's good, but you have a little time in Tokyo Tower and Senso Ji Shrine.

Good orientation of the city. The guide was absolutely terrific. She went out of her way to help and provide information.

The tour was ok, the hostess was very funny, the tea ceremony was not quite what I expected.

Our local guide felt he had to demonstrate his knowledge of foreign languages, which hampered his ability to lead the tour. The bus was average, and I felt a little herded amongst many 'traps', but the saving grace was the fellow tourists and friendly locals. Take the bullet train - a real highlight.

Tour guide was great - very informative. Would've liked more time at Imperial Garden. Tokyo Tower, the Japanese tea ceremony and the BBQ lunch were the highlights of the tour for us.

Overall, it fell below the Viator standards that I'm familiar with from many past tours.

This tour is good for a first time traveler in Tokyo with very limited time. I am a resident of Japan now and had been to many of the sights 4-5 times, but my mother was visiting for the first time and was interested in seeing some famous Tokyo sights. I figured a tour was the best thing for the amount of time we had in Tokyo. Transportation wise, not having to worry about catching and transferring trains was nice. There was a little road traffic, but nothing terrible.

If you want to spend more than 20 minutes per stop, though, I'd suggest going on your own. Our tour guide started off great, but ended up ditching us three quarters of the time. It was nice being able to have time to explore on our own, but more stressful than fun when you are led then left at the end of a 20 minute maze of a garden with a 5 minute time limit to get back to the bus with absolutely no guide to help. He allowed time for a bathroom break but didn't wait. He just left without half of the group.

Also, we arrived a little late for the river cruise and got on close to last. Everyone had to sit apart from their personal parties and in seats with not so terrific views.

I'd say it was the luck of the guide. Again, it was OK. My mom didn't mind the brief stops. She was able to visit and was satisfied with just that.
