This was a wonderful trip! The views are fantastic and the boat ride was definitely a highlight. It was a bit of a workout, but not too difficult for anyone who is used to a bit of walking. The tour guides led us through unexpected train cancellations and despite having to change around the schedule a little, it all flowed smoothly. They were helpful and friendly and even told us the best place to get gelato back in Florence. I would recommend this trip for anyone visiting Florence and the surroundings.
Excellent trip. Very well organised. We had delightful young guides who were knowledgable, welcoming and fun! Thank you so much for a great trip! Would highly recommend this.
The best day of the trip! Just like it is described in books, not disappointed at all. Our guide was great, the lunch was wonderful and the villages quaint. The scenery is amazing. Warning- the hike from the two towns is quite difficult. Not for older people or anyone with bad knees. A lot of steps and narrow walkways. You can take the train between the towns if you don't want to walk. Perfect day.
Amazing trip...our guides were incredible and we had such a good time. The lunch was simply the best Pesto we have ever had and would recommend this trip over and over to anyone who asks or who might be heading to Florence.
The best part of my entire trip. This was awesome. It was a lot of hard work and it was a tough hike but absolutely worth it. Highly recommend
This was an excellent trip, Stefano was a wonderful guide. He had just the right amount of humor to keep everyone laughing all day. He paced the walking well and kept everyone together. The lunch was tasty and a good example of local produce, especially the basil pesto. I think traveling back by boat at the end of the day was a great way end the walk as you got a good chance to see all the places you had walked along from a different perspective. Most people on this trip were under thirty but as someone on the other side of fifty it is definitely achievable. There is plenty of time to finish the walk at a slower pace
The location is very good and worth seeing. Tour Guide Stefano was very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended .
Wonderful guide, great lunch and magical location. Our guide was very considerate and allowed everyone to walk at a their own pace and throughout the walk checked on all participants. My husband and I are not partially fit but found no difficulty in completing the walk however there are some very step sections and stairs which may challenge some walkers.
Would highly recommend.

This may be the most beautiful place on earth! The guides went above and beyond. Those signing up for this day trip should be aware that this is a very rigorous trip, however, guides gave opportunities to opt out of hiking options when available.
Well organized, guides were very pleasant and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the flexibility to go at our own pace through the hiking section. Lunch was fabulous. Great value.
Absolutely fantastic! Our guides (brothers Alex and Julian) were fun and had the group totally co-ordinated. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.
It was perfect! You don't want to miss it! The walking in the forest from a village to the other was very challenging. It's not easy to do but it's very very beautiful!
What can I say? It was the BEST of 9 days on Italy! Graham and Chris were amazing! It was our first adventure in Italy. Don't plan on climbing for a few days after this one! It was a beautiful sunny day, picturesque and I will be posting pictures soon. Their description is accurate, so wear the right gear! Absolutely loved it!
Fantastic.
Our guides were Alex and Julien (we were in Alex's group) and they were great. Went out of the way to accomodate the needs of all of the hikers, very flexible.
The stair section to get up to lunch wasn't terrible, and the main section of the hike is completely at your own pace, with free time at the end of the hike in the northernmost village, Monterosso.
This was a GREAT option for us because we only had the 3 days in Florence, and with transport in and out, it was a great way to save time and see Cinque Terre, which was my favorite part of the trip.
The best tour of our lives!
Both our tour guides (Julien and Alex) made us feel confortable and taken care of the whole tour. Thanks so much!!
Cinque Terre is an amazing place to go to, and has the best views we've seen on our journey. The walk is long, but we had enough time to do it at hour on pace and no one rushed us. Also, even if it was hard to do (which it really wasn't, imagine one of us did it with a sprained uncle), the views we saw along the way kept us going gladly.
The tour was perfectly organized, fun to do and TOTALLY WORTH IT!!
Please, if you ever have the chance do it for yourself, it'll be a nice treat!
