We - husband, 8-year old and I - really enjoyed this tour. Lots of experiences in just one day for those with limited time wanting to see a bit more of Tuscany. Our son especially enjoyed walking around San G and what might have been the best ice cream we tried in Italy (and we tried a lot). Agata, the guide was professional and everything ran smoothly, including the very tasty lunch.
This tour was fantastic. First, the main guide Agathe was knowledgeable, interesting and very professional but kind and personable. In Siena there was a guide that lived in the town and provided and excellent and interesting tour of the town. This was followed by a ride to a lunch at an organic farm that was incredibly beautiful and where we were served a delicious lunch with great wines. I thought this might be disorganized because of the large group and they were very efficient with no glitches. The next two towns were great - I could have used more time in San Gimigmano (and Siena for that matter,) and maybe a little less in Pisa, but it was fine. The tour ran almost exactly on time so that we were back by 8:30 and able to have an evening in Florence.
Finally, I had strong reservations about the bus and the size of the tour and it was very comfortable - Agathe made sure to inform us of where and how to get to a restroom at our stops, which is always good to know on an all day trip!
Excellent. Very efficient and lots of fun. We wouldn't be able to visit so many places in one day by ourselves. It is certainly highly recommended tour around Florence. Thanks!
The tour was excellent. The guide Lavinia was excellent, funny, answered all our questions, she did a great job.
Excellent!Olivia was our tour leader and she was interesting, friendly, thoughtful and very accommodating. we have seen quit a lot and I would recommend this tour to anybody travelling in Tuscany!
Our guide Sandra was an amazing host. There are many similar tours which are offered but this one is the best that lets you see all the good things in a short time while providing upmost comfort and leisure.
This is a must do. The places visited are beautiful and was made more beautiful by the tour guide who was pleasant, knowledgeable and was in complete control of the group.
Loved the tour - well organized - very impressed w/Viator - would recommend to others
The tour was beautiful, informative, and a perfect Tuscany in a day experience. Our guide Agata was so knowledgeable and helpful and I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Florence or Tuscany!
Its a must do trip during your visit to florence and do it with only viator who in turn have tied up with walkabout.
My wife and I absolutely loved the tour. Was one of the best days on our entire Europe trip. Tour guide Lavinia and Mauro (driver) from the tour operator were brilliant - great info, tips, very friendly and genuinely invested in ensuring the group had a great time. Very well managed and organized tour. Ample time in each of the stops. We also get to stroll around and explore places on our own - not just follow an umbrella all day kinda thing. Lunch at the farm was really good too - they also took care of our dietary needs (vegetarian). Sitting with rest of the group for lunch was fun too - got to know our fellow travelers a bit. Would also highly commend Lavinia and Mauro for handling a situation on the tour where one of the members got lost in Siena (really the person's fault as the directions were very obvious). Lavinia literally ran back and forth from the town square and the bus and somehow they managed to find the lost person and also ensured it did not impact the rest of the day time-wise. The places covered on tour - Siena and San Gimignano are amazing. Pisa is ok, but we did enjoy climbing the leaning tower.
We had a wonderful time visiting Tuscany. The day was long but we were able to see several areas which were quite interesting. Elisa did an very good job shepherding our group throughout the day and gave us excellent level of information from start to finish. One upgrade which may be considered is the luncheon stop. While somewhat interesting, the food and wine were very basic in nature and I'm sure there are other venues which would give the travelers a better feel for the real flavor of Tuscan food.
This tour was absolutely worth the money! Levi, our tour guide, was so wonderful. She was informative and very fun to spend the day with. Anytime anyone had a problem she worked her best to resolve it. The bus driver (Salvador?) was also quite a pleasure. This went above and beyond my expectations.
This tour is excellent. Our guide was Lavinia who did a perfect job. She was very knowledgable about all the places we visited that day and had a great organizational skills and a very pleasant personality. Visiting Siena, San Gimignano and Pisa were awesome. The lunch at the Tuscan farm was out of this world. This tour was one of the major highlights of our trip to Italy. It is a must if you are visiting the Florence area.
