Departing from Las Vegas, your 4-day tour starts at the Grand Canyon South Rim - one of the Seven Natural Wonders. As you gaze out from the rim, you will be viewing 2 billion years of geologic history. Millions of people each year stand in awe at the canyon and leave with a sense of that they have witnessed nature at her finest.
See Monument Valley, made famous by countless western movies starring John Wayne, on a guided tour led by a native Navajo Indian guide. Continue to Bryce National Park to gaze at the carved spires that rise in brilliant colors of red, yellow and orange.
Finally marvel at the soaring cliffs of Zion National Park. Massive sandstone canyon walls tower overhead, like sandcastles on a beach. The park is a favorite with bird-watchers, with over 270 different species known to frequent the area.

Day One: Las Vegas - Grand Canyon
Leave the glitter of Las Vegas behind and head to Arizona - "the Grand Canyon State". Carved over millennia through the rocks of the Colorado Plateau, the Grand Canyon is more than an awe-inspiring view. On arrival to the Grand Canyon Village at the South Rim, you will have free time to enjoy the views. Overnight is in the Grand Canyon National Park Area. (Yavapai Lodge or similar)
Travel east along the South Rim of the Grand Canyon to the Painted Desert, crossing the largest Navajo Indian Reservation and continue to the Arizona / Utah border. Arrive at Monument Valley and enjoy a local sightseeing tour with a native Navajo Indian guide. The isolated 1,000 foot high stark red cliffs and buttes surrounded by empty, sandy desert have been filmed and photographed countless times over the years, and are particularly known for movies starring John Wayne. Overnight is in Page. (Courtyard By Marriott Lake Powell or similar)
Day Three: Lake Powell - Bryce Canyon
This morning cross Glen Canyon Dam, the last of the major dams built on the Colorado River. View Lake Powell from the lookout point. It is the second largest man-made lake in the United States and is awesome in its dimensions and complexity. Cross back to enter the Mormon State of Utah, and travel to Bryce Canyon National Park. View thousands of delicately carved spires that rise in brilliant colors of red, yellow and orange, from the amphitheaters, along with towering cliffs and rainbow-striped rock formations. Overnight accommodation is in the Bryce Canyon Area. (Ruby's Inn or similar)
Day Four: Bryce Canyon - Zion National Park - Las Vegas
Travel south towards Zion National Park. The dramatic white, pink and red rocks of the sculptured canyon and soaring cliffs, is a creation of the Virgin River thousands of years ago. After your visit, continue to Las Vegas where the tour will end at the original departure point.
