Thought it would be too short but not at all. Great way to see all of New York. Pilot was very good. My only criticism, I feel the 27 fuel surcharge is far too expensive.

It was a very great experience I had never been in a helicopter before it was scary at first because of how high up we were, but the view was amazing. Definitely worth it.

Flight was cool, but had to wait nearly an hour before getting on the helicopter. Workers kept telling us that others were on their way but eventually just shoved us on a flight. I don't really think anyone else was coming and they just were hoping to fill a flight.

I expected us to fly over or at least close to the Statue of Liberty, but it did not happen.

Was disappointed with a few things on this trip. The main one being we didn't really see the Statue of Liberty up close, as the tour picture suggests. Half way through the flight the pilot said, 'that's as close to the statue as we go'. None of the four people in the helicopter had even noticed the statue at this point. When we turned in our seats to look behind, we could see the statue in the far distance. I also felt that the organisation was a bit haphazard. The information provided tells you to call 48 hours before the flight to book a convenient time slot but when I called they didn't seem to know what I was talking about. Apparently the BadaBing always leaves at 4.30pm so booking a time was not an option. The staff were also lacking in any customer service skills. The pilot and ground crew in particular were rude and did nothing to ease our pre-flight nerves. Most disappointing was the fact that the pilot gave zero commentary so we didn't really know what we were looking at. I wouldn't recommend this particular company although the actual experience of being in a helicopter is highly recommended! I'm sure it is a great way to see this fab city with other operators.

Firstly let me say the actual helicopter trip was great - unfortunately our experience was badly ruined by the incompetence of the people running it. We booked a morning slot for my husbands 30th as I had planned lots of other things that day. We reconfirmed 2 days in advance and were told we had to come at 4.30pm so after some cancellations we arrived in plenty time at 4pm where they kept us waiting for an hour to be told that we had to come back at 6.30pm. Now the heliport is a bit out of the way and 20 in a taxi either way from 5th avenue where we were staying. So we came back the next day, the day we were to fly home, and told to be there at 11 and we would be taken straight away. No such luck and eventually at 12.30 with others being taken before us and getting discounts off their flights we were finally taken. Lots of hassle for a short 10 minutes and I would definitely avoid them at all costs. Lots of other providers of this service, we weren't the only ones messed around either.

It was a total DISASTER with the helicopter company. My girlfriend and I scheduled the flight at half four but waited TWO hours and were told the flight was cancelled!!! We had to either get refund or pay 100 more to upgrade to another tour WITHOUT any compensation. Since the tour is on our must-do list and we do not want to waste the 2 hours waiting, we chose to pay extra, but it totally killed the mood. The problem is the company is not regulated and there is no relevant authority for us to report to. Also, in the right corner of your ticket there are tiny words company reserves the right to terminate any tour without notice. It puts customer at very weak position and the company can do whatever it wants to.
