Enjoyed the day very much. Very good guide and explained everything to us along the way.

This is a whistle-stop tour, so if you want that then it's good. You do meet real Amish people and get a buggy ride through a real working farm. The staff and guides were laid-back and friendly, too, which made the long day easy going for all. I recommend it.

I had a fantastic day. The tour guide was really nice and had a bubbly personality that made the day very enjoyable. Seeing the Amish was a highlight. I would recommend this tour.

High point is Amish country.

A fantastic day, although it was marred by an accident in the Lincoln tunnel, so it took us over two hours to get out of Manhattan. Because of this, we didn't get much time in the Amish Country, but what we saw was very interesting.

Very informative of the history of Philadelphia. The Amish were interesting people. Our tour guide was really great and very chatty and friendly which really helped make an interesting trip. The bus driver was a happy person. I really think it was worth doing.

The drive was long as traffic in and out of NYC is generally bad anyway. Stop in Philadelphia was informative. Would have liked to spend more time in Amish country. It felt a bit rushed as we had to start driving back to beat peak hour traffic.

We really looked forward to this trip but are not convinced it was a good value for money. The guide raced us round a couple of sites and then we had time to kill. The 'Amish Village' we were taken to for lunch was unexpectedly a cutesy theme park style village with twee craft shops, etc - not faintly Amish. The 8 of us on the mini-bus had expected a home-cooked Amish style meal and not a cafeteria selling fast food (which we had to pay for). The highlight of the day was the visit to the Farmhouse - very interesting but, by the time we arrived, we had only a short time. On the way, we passed several Dutch style Pennsylvanian home-cooking restaurants with car parks and would suggest that one of these would have been better for lunch and we could have spent more time at the farmhouse museum. I would love to visit these places again but with a day for each - too much to pack into one day.

The tour was unprofessional. A dented uncomfortable mini van whose driver talked on her mobile phone and played with her hair often leaving no hand on the wheel. The tour leader had English as a second language and had a thin grasp of history. I was very disappointed. We seemed to spend time wandering around aimlessly, not sure what we were looking at or why!

Bus uncomfortable and the guide was ill informed. Philadelphia tour too hurried and the Amish experience not as advertised. There was no tour of farm house, guide was not Amish. The tour consisted of a short ride 20-30 minutes, on a crowded carriage. Did not live up to product description.
