Take time out for a day trip into California wine regions of Napa and Sonoma Valleys from San Francisco. Traveling by minivan, you'll enjoy the benefits of a small group tour with a maximum of eight participants, and discover some of California's favorite wines.
For lovers of great wine and beautiful scenery, this full day tour from San Francisco takes you to where America's most famous wine labels come from. Typically, your guide will take you to both Sonoma and Napa Valleys, and visit four to six boutique wineries that are less frequently visited by tourists. Requests for favorite wineries will be considered within reason and distance constraints, so you can help plan the trip.
Sample wines from famous grape-growing regions such as Rutherford, Oakville, St. Helena, Yountville, Stags Leap, Los Carneros, Sonoma Valley, Kenwood, and Glen Ellen. The guide will also make sure you have an opportunity to have a delicious meal of "California Cuisine".
A few wineries offer complimentary tastings, but most charge a fee ranging from $5 to $10 (or even higher) and guided winery tours may also cost extra.
Returning to San Francisco you have the option of ending your tour in Sauslito to explore the village and make your own way back across the bay on the ferry at your own leisure.

Departure Point:Tour departs from Union Square, Fisherman's Wharf, South of Market, Japantown. Financial District, Chinatown, and Marina (west end of Lombard Street) hotels, and the Ferry Terminal in Sausalito.
Departure Time:Between 7:50am and 9:00am (exact time to be advised on reconfirmation)
