Well worth it, stunning views. Strongly recommend booking prior to visit as queues for tickets were long. You still have to queue for lifts but these do move quickly.

Skipping the line was the best thing we ever could have done. Personally I'd have preferred the NY helicopter video to be less up/down/swerving and more of the straight shots of the city. However, DEFINITELY the way to get to the top of the Empire State Building! It saved us about 3 hours in our vacation time.

I went with my husband and 9 year old who totally embraced the tourist bit! We walked for 6 hours on day one of our trip. The Empire State Building was everything we expected it to be. We started queuing in the wrong place but found a really helpful guide who showed us the skip the queue door. The skyride was good although it did make me feel queasy. After a couple of minutes I had to keep my eyes shut and hope for a speedy end. My husband and son both loved it though.

Not so keen on the Skyride but the Observatory is fantastic, especially as we went up after nightfall. The view is absolutely amazing - not to be missed.

It was worth having the combined ticket as we were able to bypass the two hour wait in queue on Christmas Day.

The skyride was a lot of fun, as was the observatory, especially since we didn't have to stand in a horribly long line thanks to the preprinted Viator voucher.

Excellent, it was amazing loved every minute of it and so pleased we bought tickets prior to going, it saves so much time. The day we visited the Empire State Building it was closed for poor visibility so we did the ride instead and came back the following evening and went to the top of the Observatory although bitterly cold and minus temps it was a mind blowing experience.

The skyride was great, seeing the Twin Towers as they used to be was very moving then going out to the observatory and seeing a different skyline really brings it home.

A must, breathtaking. We went at dusk so had the benefit of seeing it in sun and stars. Queues not bad at all either.
