This great overnight trip lets you travel from San Francisco to Las Vegas taking in Yosemite National Park, Fresno and Calico Ghost Town along the way at a leisurely pace.
Yosemite National Park was one of the first wilderness parks in the United States and is best known for its waterfalls. Within its boundaries you can find deep valleys, grand meadows, ancient giant sequoias, a vast wilderness area and soaring mountains.
After spending the night in Fresno/Bakersfield, day 2 begins by traveling through San Joaquin Valley - California's top agricultural producing region, sometimes called "the nation's salad bowl" for the great array of fruits and vegetables grown in its fertile soil. Continuing on you will visit Calico Ghost Town, one of the few original mining camps of the Old West.
Your overnight tour ends in the non stop entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas.

Day 1: San Francisco - Yosemite - Fresno
Depart San Francisco and travel to Yosemite National Park in the Sierra Nevada, with spectacular panoramas and mountain vistas. Highlights of the park include Yosemite Valley, its high cliffs and waterfalls and the Mariposa Grove, which contains hundreds of ancient giant sequoias, the world's largest living things on earth. The area was home to American Indians for as long as 8,000 years. Overnight accommodation will be in Fresno/Bakersfield
Day 2: Fresno - Calico Ghost Town - Las Vegas
Today travel south through the great farmlands of the fertile San Joaquin Valley, to Calico ghost town will carry you back in time to an authentic silver mining town of the Old West. Carefully reconstructed to recreate the spirit of Calico's Old West past, you can walk the streets and examine the life of miners and townspeople. Leave California and travel to Las Vegas, Nevada "the entertainment capital of the world" where the tour ends.
