Malta another great place! We are fortunate that Hop on/off Bus is in so many cities! Thank you!
Great way to see the beautiful island of Malta. I especially recommend Mdina, which is part of the hop-on, hop-off tour. There are three legs of this tour. We took all three and saw it all. Highly recommend.
Excellent way to see any new to you places
Being able to get to tour around and then to decide when and where to get of and back on is great
We didn't want to walk too far and this enabled us to sightsee the easy way
The audio commentary was also very interesting giving an insight into the city
The service was situated close to the cruise terminal making it a worry free part of our holiday
Highly recommend this way of sightseeing
A great way to see an overall view of Malta for cheap. Buses are very dependable. We loved every second.
Loved it.. Awesome tour, very informative, a lot of stops, you could take your time at all places, beutifull ports and castles. I Totally recomend it.

It was a very nice tour, you must do it if you like to Watch everything ...
A good way to see the features of the area. Be sure to hop off at the Blue Grotto.
Great, we were able to see all sights and when we( about 6 of us) took last bus from Grotto the bus driver made sure we were back on time!!
Again after a orientation this turned out to be a Great way to see Malta. I recommend taking the bus going to the Grotto first and then work your way back.
The weather was awful but a trip around the island kept us dry and able to see the sites.
Hop on Hop Off Bus was great to get us to places in Valletta we wanted to see on our own. We had been to Valletta before and knew where we wanted to go so this was a relatively inexpensive way to get around.
The tour to the old town was excellent. Tour to the fishing town was too lengthy, not much to see on the way and little to do when you arrive. Would not recommend it.
It was good getting a hop on hop off the only trouble is you still don't get enough time to see both sides of the city because our cruise ship didn't stay all day. But if you take a hop on hop off make sure you take the tour the side you want to see first.. We went to the blue grotto and loved it but it does take a while to get to it.what I also like is you get to hear about the history were ever you are.
A great way to get around Malta in a day. Convenient stops and reliable service.
The hop on hop off bus is great, you get to go and visit almost all the Island of Malta in the bus, but first go to take the Blue line, to go to the south and see the Blue Grotto, they are amazing!! It is a beautiful place to visit. I would recommend it.
The city sights were interesting. We got there too late to take both tours.
once we got on the bus it was a very good tour. it took one hour of waiting to get on the bus and that really wasn't acceptable
We were able to see a Mdina medieval town and other historical towns.
First of all- there are really only 2 hop-on-hop-off companies in Malta and they have very similar names- one is CitySightseeing Malta and the other is Malta Sightseeing- they are both red, both use the same font and they are incredibly hard to tell a part. For those that are on a cruise, this company is set up right outside selling tickets. There needs to be more buses with more frequent times. I took the red line which stops a the temples, Blue Grotto etc. From start to finish, it would take 2 hours and 15 mins to do one loop without getting off. If I got off at the Temples, the next bus wouldn't arrive until 45 mins later- that is a long time! Anyway, I thought the audio guide was useless and hard to hear. They also had signage saying that they sold water for $1 Euro- which they didn't have at the very start of the morning. There was also no real announcement of what stop you had just arrived at either- perhaps this was on the audioguide? We were originally sitting on the top and had to move down to the bottom to ensure that we could ask the driver where we were. First stop- the Tarxien- only plus was that it was very close to the Hypogeum so we didn't have to wander around aimlessly. When we were done there, we saw one of the red buses and made a run for it- when we tried to board, we were informed that this was a "Malta Sightseeing" bus and we had paid for the other tour company. So we got off and waited...Next stop was the Marsaxlokk fishing village- it was beautiful... After that we headed to the Blue Grotto. After this, we decided to head back to the cruise ship. All in all, I think I should have researched taking a cab to all of these places- I probably would have had more time to sightsee if I wasn't always waiting around for a bus to show up.
