Strap on your helmet and get ready for a great day of biking through beautiful Vancouver! This 5-hour Vancouver bike tour is fully guided and will have you riding through the city's distinct neighborhoods, calm beaches and local hangouts while you enjoy the fresh Pacific air. The tour is conducted via headphones and a wireless radio so you can always hear what your guide is saying about the sights.
Jump on your bike and make your way around Stanley Park the way locals do -- along the seawall. The seawall is a 13.7-mile (22km) walking, jogging and cycling path that wraps around the water’s edge all the way from downtown and surrounds Stanley Park. Enjoy the beautiful views of the harbor and the coastal mountains while you cycle, then take a break at Second Beach. Your route then continues along English Bay to the posh and trendy Yaletown.
From Yaletown, enjoy a ride over False Creek to Granville Island. Granville Island is famous for local art studios, street artists, weavers and the impressive Granville Island Public Market. Lock up your bike and enjoy the wonders of the market, where you can grab one of the Pacific Northwest’ s many local delicacies for lunch (own expense).
Hop back on your bike and cruise along the South Side of False Creek, past the LEED gold-rated Olympic Village and the heart of the 1986 World’s Fair, Science World. Turn right at the newly pedestrianized Carall Street and get off your bike to experience the wonders of Chinatown up close. Get a glimpse of Vancouver’s oldest neighborhoods as you skirt the Downtown Eastside. After a stroll through the tourist hub called Gastown, you'll ride past Canada Place's iconic sail-shaped arches and large cruise ship terminal.
