Read what other Viator.com travelers think about the Vancouver Trolley Hop-on Hop-off Tour, Lookout Observation Deck and Vancouver Aquarium Combo. What they loved, what they liked and what they think could be improved, it's all here to help you make the most of your next trip.
This Combo Package was very exciting and User Friendly. It is valid for 2 days and you can visit your favourite destinations by getting down on your stop. After you are done, another Bus will pick you up from the same spot. This gives a good amount of time to checkout the places one wants to visit.
P.S. - Bicycle ride in Stanley Park is a Must :-)
On the tour, we saw sights that we would not have otherwise known existed! The tour guide/driver was very knowledgeable and shared information, history and culture as we enjoyed the ride on the trolley. We had a wonderful time and would love to do it all over again!
We only used the two day tour, but loved it....stayed on for the first day. then second day took it to stanley park for some hiking, then got back on again and went to Granville Island. Off there, then on again. Really useful. . Guides very knowledgable, tho they do vary. On-off the way to go!!
Excellent tour, best way to see the city. If we go back to Vancouver in the future we will do this again!
This is a very great way to see all really important sights in Vancouver in 2 days. I only wish they had continued into the evening. Vancouver is beautiful at night, also. Good price, also. The drivers are so entertaining and some are funny. I had soe good laughs.
This was excellent to give us an overview of Vancouver. We ended up doing the trolley on 7th and 8th instead of the 8th and 9th as we had originally booked and there were no problems at all changing dates. We also did the Lookout Observation deck on the 7th and didn't find out till we got there that they were closing early. Again no problem, we went up during the day on the 7th and were able to go up at night on 8th whereas usually it is one day only. We loved the aquarium. We also loved the little ferry ride from Granville Island which we got free by using the coupon book which came with the trolley ticket.
This is a great way of seeing Vancouver and the guides are full of history of the area. We loved it. We went to Stanley Park and saw the gardens and the aquarium. We spent some time in Gastown which was fun. We went to the Lookout Observation Deck and saw Vancouver from every angle. The bus went through Chinatown which is really neat. This is the best way to see Vancouver and learn about its history. Each driver has his\her own style which makes it very interesting too.
Wonderful way to see Vancouver. The Aquarium is a must do activity
A fabulous way to see the highlights of Vancouver. Convenient pick up from our hotel. Driver's were all different in their commentaries, all equally as good. Definitely a must do when in Vancouver!
Tour guides are very well informed about the history of the area and this tour also gives the opportunity to see and decide what areas you would like to revisit by walking around not just by riding in the trolley.
This is the best way to see and view Vancouver. The bus stops should be more conspicuous for easy location.
Trolley is a great way to get around the city - our driver really was fantastic too. Very informative without being overbearing... even gave us a bonus wine tasting stop. Observation Deck isn't a huge building but gives good views all over and the aquarium is very good - don't forget the amazing Stanley Park, which the aquarium is set in. Recommended.
The Hop-On Hop-Off Bus tour was great. I was able to see all of Vancouver and get great insider tips from the tour guides. My trip also included the Aquarium and the Lookout tower. Both were great sites to see.
I like hop-on-hop-off tours to get my bearings around a new city, and this package with the trolley, aquarium and observation deck was perfect
We enjoyed the Vancouver Hop on Hop off tour. The tour guide/driver was very pleasant and helpful. We also took the Whistler Trip and Grouse Mountain and the tour guide/driver Brent was very pleasant and helpful. We really learned alot about Vancouver. I will choose Viator again on my next trip. Thank you for making a visit to Vancouver a memorable one. Emily Saturnino, Honolulu, Hawaii
Great tour and drivers are very nice and chatty. Lots of stops, there are now 30 but the trolleys are now 40 minutes apart. Only issue with the description is that it says 2 day ticket but does not say that they do not have to consecutive. I missed out on a days use because I intended to use the ticket on day 3 only but could have also used it on day 1 of my trip.
Note from Viator: Hi Stephen, We are glad you enjoyed your tour! We are sorry that this is unclear and we have since updated the brochure page to specific this statement. Thank you, Viator
We spent a rainy September morning strolling round Vancouver aquarium. It has a wide variety of fish and sea mammals and some beautiful displays of jellyfish. There is a 4D showing of Planet Earth which is great fun, educational but with added bubbles! We spent ages watching the sea otters which are so cute and entertaining! The Vancouver lookout is worth a visit, unfortunately it was a bit gray and miserable when we went up, but your ticket is valid for a day and night visit and there are great views of Vancouver. The Hop-on hop-off trolley tour was good. It offered a bus from each stop every 10 minutes. It was slightly let down by some of the drivers who's live commentary was a bit lacking, however it serves all the major tourist sights. If you get a good commentary it is worth staying on and completing the loop to listen to it as the next driver may not be so good. There are two lines and your ticket is valid for two days for both. We really did need two days! I would recommend stopping at Dr Sun Yat Sen's Chinese garden and the Vancouver police museum. When we exchanged our voucher for our tour tickets they actually gave us free entry to either attraction which was a nice bonus! Overall a great package which I would recommend.
Great way to see Vancouver. Well worth the money. The Aquarium was fantastic. The view from the Observation deck was 360 degrees. It was a clear sunny day and I think it needs to be to appreciate the fantastic view. Only down side is the buses finish at about 4:10pm.
