Superb trip with fantastic views. We travelled in the glass dome which was certainly worth the money. The food, drink and hospitality was worth every bit of the money. The weather on that day was very misty however it made the scenery even more dramatic. We had about 3 hours free time in whistler which was long enough. The village itself was very pretty with good eating places, however you are limited in what to do in a short space of time. The journey back in the mini bus was comfortable, with the journey broken up by stopping at Shannon falls and a conservation area with ancient and huge trees. We arrived back at our hotel at around 7 in the evening. I would certainly recommend this trip.

Can recommend this to travelers of all ages. We booked the Dome car seats, and the views and service were first class. Our tour guide was brilliant, his knowledge of the area from Whistler to Vancouver is impressive, and the rain forest walk on the return journey was an absolute bonus - there are temperate rain forests in British Columbia! An added highlight was the optional float plane flight over the glaciers around Whistler, again highly recommended with fantastic scenery wherever you looked.

The trip was fantastic, and I enjoyed every moment. The train ride was truly amazing, and Whistler was a beautiful place. The guides and staff were friendly and informative. A truly unforgettable experience.

This is a not-to-be-missed experience. We chose the Glacier Dome, where the unparalleled views were complemented by the comfort, hospitality and excellent commentary. The return drive to Vancouver was equally enjoyable.

It was a spectacular train ride, and I would recommend this to anyone who wants to visit Whistler. This is the best way to see and enjoy the beautiful countryside.

We chose the "Glacier Dome" option and were well impressed. From the moment we boarded the train, we were in awe of both the level of the the service and the panoramic views. We wondered if we had made the right choice with our specific tour company, as the return journey was by mini coach rather than the luxurious coaches we had been on with a competing company. But the personality and slightly off the wall style of the driver soon overcame that. This is an experience we want to repeat by taking one of the longer train journeys next time.

We chose the Glacier Dome option for this tour and thoroughly enjoyed it. The views from the train were stunning the whole way, and the staff even gave some interesting commentary along the way. Once in Whistler, we chose to do the optional sightseeing flight which I highly recommend! It gives you a fantastic view over the Whistler Blackcomb Mountains, as well as surrounding glaciers and stunning glacier-fed lakes. On the drive back home, the tour guide was very informative and accommodating to people's requests for photo stops, and even helped to organize show tickets for that evening for a couple onboard!

The scenery was fabulous and your staff was informative, friendly and at times very entertaining. The ride was comfortable in the first class section but an overhead bin would have been nice.

We chose the domed train to Whistler. Unfortunately, there had been an accident on the highway, and a truck had rolled down towards the track. We sat on the track for close to three hours, but the staff of the train was incredibly accommodating, and the train management worked very hard to keep us informed. They turned what could have been a disaster into a very pleasant experience.

The train and personnel were nice. The views were obstructed in most part by the trees. It was my understanding it was a train ride both ways! The bus was better for the views. Two stops were informative and educational. The water fall were impressive. We took higher price with hope the train has the high up dome, not windows in top of the car! Not a good deal! The price was too high for the value delivered. Next time will rent a car and do my own site seeing!
