Absolutely great. The seaplane experience was very good, with professional staff and an interesting low level flight to Victoria. The ferry ride back was a chance to relax, with the bus driver being particularly helpful
This was a superb day. even with inclement weather, and the need to drive to another spot to depart, the flights was great - the day at Victoria superb, and the return ferry a mystical delight - beautiful calm waters after the rugged morning starty! And wifi as well! Truly four season in one day. The communication was clear and help was always available if required. Gerard (Sydney, Australia)
Well managed. Check in and directions superb. Tour assitance by staff fantastic. Flight and plane were great.
Wonderful! Had a fab view off vancover on route to Victoria, getting in and out of plane an experience in it self! A must for anyone going to vancover
My husband and I truly enjoyed this trip. From the seaplane ride, our first ever, including some fabulous muffins in the airport while we waited, to the relaxing ferry ride after a long day of walking, and finally a door to door bus ride back to our hotel. This was an experience to remember. Isn't that what vacations are about!
The flight was wonderful and well worth it given the extra time it gave us to look around Victoria. Great experience, well organized and highly recommended.
Thoroughly enjoyable day from start to finish. Trip by float plane fantastic as beautiful day - could see everything. Victoria was like going back in time very peaceful. Then, what an experience on the ferry back. Talk on deck by staff on marine life - very informative. Highly recommend. Marilyn July 2011
This was pretty cool, and it was the right price. These are also commuter planes though, so nobody is really describing what you're seeing you just look out the window, which is fine. I really liked that they give you free donuts while you wait.
Flight at low altitude was great! Smooth and sunny. Enjoyed just sitting back on the deck of the ferry or on the bus watching the scenery go by. When you stop to think it over, this is a lot of activity for your money. Only concern: Booking info should do a better job of letting you know about parking options that will be close to the bus return. I assumed the bus would return us to the docks, but bus is not affiliated with the Seaplane company. I will look to do this in other cities!
Seaplane journey spectacular - not so keen on the bus and ferry journey back to Vancouver - tiring! 35 min out to Victoria and 3.l/2 hours back Downtown Victoria - then taxi to accommodation - a long day out!
One of the highlights of the whole holiday (especially for my husband who was in the co-pilot seat). We were lucky enough to have a clear day and the journey was stunning. The take off and landing were incredibly smooth and the views were just amazing. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to arrive in Victoria in style. Overall a fabulous experience and we felt it was good value for money.
Although the weather was not favorable, the seaplane ride was not bumpy. We enjoyed the aerial view from the Turbine Otter. Victoria was beautiful and people were nice. The return trip on the ferry was fun, too.
