Take off a little bumpy due to the weather but apart from that it was a wonderful experience not to be missed.
This was so much fun! Both Vancouver and Victoria are breathtaking locations!
Victoria is a must see in this part of the world but the ferry crossing and bus transfers take a long time from Vancouver on a day trip. The seaplane cuts this journey to just half an hour and in addition you get wonderful views of Vancouver, Victoria and the islands in-between.
Great flight. On time and smooth. Westher was good, so clear views of the islands. Instrictions clear re. Coach back. Ferry good, again weather was clear so journey smooth. Would recommend
A spectacular experience. The views were stunning both on the outbound trip via seaplane and on the evening return on the ferry. Try to book the ferry during sunset and grab an outside seat.
The seaplane was great I got to sit in the copilot seat so had a great view. The high tea at the Empress was also wonderful. We didn't have enough time to go to the gardens so I missed that. I took a trolley tour instead
Booking a trip worked very well. Everyone we met was professional and helpful. The flight out was amazing and the coach/ferry back fun. I highly recommend this as a way to see some of the island in a single day without breaking the bank on flying both ways.
I was completely shocked by how smooth and quiet the ride was! I thought the landing would be really rough and in fact it was much gentler than a traditional plane. We enjoyed everything about the ride in the seaplane. An important thing to point out is that we're quite short so the seats were perfectly fine for us but anybody over 5 '5'' will likely feel cramped. The seats are much smaller than airplanes and it's a very small cabin. If you don't mind the tight squeeze, I HIGHLY recommend this trip. Also, the airports are really nice and accommodating!
Amazing and the arrangements can be flexible in case of emergence. The staff is so helpful as well: being patient to reiterate the entire procedures and arrangements.
The tour was excellent. The pre-flight check in was efficient and helpful. Thank you for the free coffee! The flight left on time, was fun to see everything on the way in to Victoria. We had no trouble woth the bus back to the ferry. Thanks for the ride to our hotel at the end. Great day!
Tour was fantastic. The plane ride was so fun and views were to die for. The staff were all very professional and the flight was on time and the take off and landings were better than any land flights I have taken. Victoria is a beautiful city to explore and the ferry ride back was long but great.
The best way to get to Victoria and gives you more time to explore, Only 40 minuites to get there but 2½ hours to get back. Nice cruise through the islands with chance to see Orcas.
Victoria is very English without all the rush of Vancouver. No skyscrapers or roadside billboards, just clean and tidy. A must vist town.
Don' miss this trip! Quick way to Vancouver Island to start day and scenic run back via coach/ferry. Driver did do drop off for those who wanted.
Enjoyed this trip very much. Liked to experience both the Ferry and the Seaplane!
It is a, great waiting lounge at Vancouver, where we were offered coffee and croissants. The flight over to Victoria was lovely. I thought we had a little tour of Victoria included, but that did not materialise. Otherwise I would recommend the trip!
Great day trip and worth paying the extra to do the Vancouver to Victoria leg of the tour by seaplane. The views during take off and landing were amazing. The return leg of 3.5 hours may sound daunting, but a substantial part of this is on the ferry and weather permitting you will be able to enjoy more amazing views from on deck. Note, it is important that you contact the operator of your tour, as explained in your voucher, to get the times of your plane and bus bookings. These will not come from Viator.
Wonderful to see our children and be shown some wonderful amazing vitas and experience some challanges, and the culture of another country.
The sea plane and Victoria Island are wonderful. The 45 minute bus ride to the ferry that then took us back to Vancover (11/2 Hours) then a 45 minute bus ride to the hotel was not expected. It went fine. The ferry had a good buffet.
Flying in a seaplane was the most amazing experience. We were very fortunate as it was a beautiful sunny calm day. My husband got to sit in the co-pilot's seat which was an added bonus. The trip back on the ferry was very pleasant. All in all we had a fabulous day.
