the trip was everything we expected and more from the moment we were picked up at the hotel till the second we stepped off the plane in Vancouver Harbour the "Rocky Mountaineer was unbelievable with picture postcard views for the entire 4 hours, Our hostess on board the train was so informative and helpful and the sevice was A+. Just when you thought it couldn't get any better, we arrived at Whistler.the cablecar ride to the summit was beautiful, but then we too
k the "peak-to- peak" gondola and the experience reached a new level. finishing off with a floatplane ride over the mountains and a landing in Vancouver Harbour was the icing on the cake. Out of the entire 31 days we were away from our home in Australia - this was my wifes favourite experience!!!!

A good trip made great by the pilot of the floatplane who decided to take us over the mountains, definitely the "good way" and thank you very much!
The return trip was brilliant; I love trains and the glass dome carriage was excellent. Best part? Standing on the viewing platform with stunning views everywhere.

The tour operators were great but Viator's arrangements were messed up - had pickup at the wrong hotel - my email instructions fro Viator were poor. Than god the tour operators were flexible and responsible. The tour and trip itself were great. I would use the operators again and highly recommend them, but I would not trust Viator to make the proper arrangements.

The adventure was wonderful. Sea plane to Whistler was without any problems. Morning views from the plane were awsome. Lake landing was exciting. Van ride into town was very informative. But this is where the problem starts. No information on where or when to catch the train. We spent the next hour in at the visitor center trying to get information. Very helpful receptionist. We left the center still not 100% clear on what we were looking for. By chance I saw the name "Rocky Mountaineer" on a white van which led us to another very helpful employee. But we were at a bus waiting area that could not see the flags being put up that indicated that the bus was in this area. So lucky I was reading and identifying every car, van and bus that went by. Once we got on the bus then on the train everything was smooth as silk. Great attendants in the dome car. We had a marvelous time with them. Service was great. Drinks flowed freely, small plates of food were delicious. Except for the stress of not having information that we could have easily been given sometime before the trip, I would recommend this for any and everyone.

My Whistler day trip with Viator was not a good experience. When I booked the tour I was told by the operator that all details will be given to me
on my voucher, when i received the voucher there was mentioned about pick up and drop off.
When we checked in at Vancouver seaplane terminal we paid an additional $16.00 for what I dont know, the customer service rep. took all our paper work with the voucher and told us we will get more details about the tour in Whistler, when we arrived in Whislter someone drop us off by the Gongola exchange and said he will come back at
3:pm after we spent more money on the Gondola
and ready to be picked up at 3:pm there was no one to take us to the Rocky Mountaineer train station for our return to VANCOUVER we had to frantically calling different places then eventually we were picked up our train was due to depart at 3:30pm. it was a relief to get into the train, all in all I will not recommend this tour company. This tour costs us $800.00 for 2 adults and it was horrible
