This was a fantastic tour. It was small so very personalised. We would do it again and would recommend it to anyone. Definitely a highlight of our holiday!

I really liked this tour. It was beautiful and well worth a day trip to someplace other than Venice. I liked the atmosphere and the view was breathtaking. It was so far in the North that we actually heard a lot of German rather than Italian being spoken. I would recommend this to anyone.

This trip included three generations, including a teen. There was one other couple along, making a total of 8 passengers. The other couple was extremely "chatty," and our driver never got a word in to explain what we were seeing--our loss, I'm sure. The views were amazing! The countryside, small villages, majestic mountains, Olympic ski jumps, pastures and lakes were captured on 5 cameras for memory. We had not planned appropriately for the weather, and it started to snow while we were on the ski lift, but we thoroughly enjoyed it anyway! So worth the price of the trip. The lunch was the only negative. Unfamiliar food is a little challenging. Most of us tried it and opted for the wine. Our teen was saved by the Nutella in our packs. Cortina is a beautiful village. Shopping was a bit pricey, but the hot chocolate was to die for! A whole different Italy! So worth doing!

We loved the Misuarina lake, a lovely and serene little spot 1800m above sea level. The air was cool in contrast to the summer weather in Venice. The rustic lunch was tasty and generous in serving. Eating outdoors surrounded by mountains and greeneries was a great experience. Our guide was friendly and gave us little anecdotes about his own experiences at the various locations.

This trip is just fantastic!!! It really was the highlight of our visit. The scenery is just too breathtaking for words. The rep had a great wealth of local knowledge. During the trip we visited a farmhouse for dinner, high above the town of Cortina. We stopped to look at local numerous locations with plenty of time for photos. We also stopped at several other interesting towns and reservoirs and also had a locally made ice cream. If you go to Venice you really must do it!

That was an excellent day! The tour guides were very friendly and answered all our annoying questions. Even got an ice cream on the house. The only problem was that the meeting point was difficult to find.

The visit to Cortina was great, the town is beautiful. The Dolomites are amazing. Unfortunately it was foggy that day so we couldn't see the mountaintops. If we had known how wonderful this part of Italy was we would have skipped Venice (too many tourists) and spent the time at the Dolomites. The day-trip lunch was at a family farmhouse. They serve to the locals mainly, you would never know it's a restaurant from the street. They make their own cheese, bread and wine. The food was outstanding. They served the most amazing ricotta cheesecake. If you want to get away from the crowds of Venice and see true beauty do this trip.

We thoroughly enjoyed it! Would surely recommend to any Venice travellers. A tour worth taking. Well organized, friendly and extremely helpful driver. Awesome scenery, lakes, snow-capped dolomites, wonderful lunch and ice cream. A must must do!

This was okay. We would have preferred to spend more time in a place other than the most expensive shopping street in Cortina. I am sure some of the smaller, less famous, towns and villages in the area would have been of more interest. Our guide was nice but not very forthcoming with information unless asked...he seemed more like just a driver than a guide. The highlight of the trip was the simple lunch at a family farm. It was really delicious and quaint.

Excellent & careful driver; needs to improve as a tour guide though.

The guide/driver was very knowledgeable and interesting. The area we toured was beautiful, awesome, really. The farm lunch left much to be desired.

We loved the Dolomites, but I was not too impressed with our tour guide. The lunch at the farm house was not very good. It was more of an appetizer. It consisted of three meats, some cheeses, not all of which were good, and some bread. There were no refills, no dessert, and no coffee. It was a very long day without a good meal. I was not the only one who felt that way. Other people got different food, so the farm did have the ability to serve us something more customary to the region.

A tour that definitely wets one's appetite to return and do more hiking for example. Would have enjoyed more commentary from the driver.
