That was an excellent day! The tour guides were very friendly and answered all our annoying questions. Even got an ice cream on the house. The only problem was that the meeting point was difficult to find.

The visit to Cortina was great, the town is beautiful. The Dolomites are amazing. Unfortunately it was foggy that day so we couldn't see the mountaintops. If we had known how wonderful this part of Italy was we would have skipped Venice (too many tourists) and spent the time at the Dolomites. The day-trip lunch was at a family farmhouse. They serve to the locals mainly, you would never know it's a restaurant from the street. They make their own cheese, bread and wine. The food was outstanding. They served the most amazing ricotta cheesecake. If you want to get away from the crowds of Venice and see true beauty do this trip.

We thoroughly enjoyed it! Would surely recommend to any Venice travellers. A tour worth taking. Well organized, friendly and extremely helpful driver. Awesome scenery, lakes, snow-capped dolomites, wonderful lunch and ice cream. A must must do!

The guide/driver was very knowledgeable and interesting. The area we toured was beautiful, awesome, really. The farm lunch left much to be desired.

We loved the Dolomites, but I was not too impressed with our tour guide. The lunch at the farm house was not very good. It was more of an appetizer. It consisted of three meats, some cheeses, not all of which were good, and some bread. There were no refills, no dessert, and no coffee. It was a very long day without a good meal. I was not the only one who felt that way. Other people got different food, so the farm did have the ability to serve us something more customary to the region.

A tour that definitely wets one's appetite to return and do more hiking for example. Would have enjoyed more commentary from the driver.
