Definitely a worthwhile tour! Our guide was impressive with her knowledge and moved at a perfect speed. We saw architectural and cultural treasures that we would never have found alone - Ponte dell Tette, anyone? Some of the not too exhausted among us finished the tour inside the beautiful Basilica di Santa Maria Gloriosa where our guide truly came into her own with great understanding of each incredible masterpiece. Please - take this tour!
Our guide was Arianna. She is a Venetian so she knows what she is talking about. Even if you already know about Venice and its history, she manages to surprise and add to your knowledge. Also the parts that are familiar are presented in an enjoyable way.
Very enjoyable and extremely informative. It made the rest of our stay in Venice all the more interesting as we were able to recognise pertinent features in other buildings/areas that we came across over the week. The Guide was extremely pleasant and very wiling to answer any questions. I would rate and recommend this particular tour very highly and would, if we were lucky enough to return to Venice, do it again.
We had an excellent guide. She was well informed and enthusiastic. I would book again.
This was a great way to get some history on Venice without the crowd and a lot of time. Our guide was very knowledgeable and was able to answer everyone's questions.
The guide was a delight. Very capable and knowledgeable. A chance to see parts of Venice I would not have found on my own.
Informative guide. We went to places off the tourist track which was wonderful for someone who's been to Venice 4 times.
Tour and guide were excellent. Learned a lot, saw a lot of interesting areas that were off-the-beaten path. Excellent introduction to Venice.
Great tour! Our guide Maria spoke excellent English, was informative, inspiring, and organized. i would like to have tipped her but she dashed off at the end of the tour before I had a chance. I have already recommended this tour to others.
Excellent. Guide was knowledgeable and took us to the back corners of the City!
Excellent guide, very informative, worth the money to get an insight of old Venice without wandering around aimlessly.
Our tour guide was a fountain of interesting information. She told us about the history of the Venice neighborhoods yesterday and today.
Excellent guide and tour and you learn so much more when it is conducted by a genuine Venetian person
Sabrina was a VERY knowledgeable, caring and generous guide. The route is engaging and allows for some lively story-telling. An all-inclusive price would be better, instead of the "optional" church and additional payment for the final stop, which any tourist would be silly to miss.
This was really great tour because it took you parts of Venice that you may not as a tourist go to. The guide also gave us alot of background information on Venice, the streets etc.
Fantastic tour. Great guide who knew so much but never overshared the info. I would tour with her anytime. Saw so much backstreet Venice I wouldn't have otherwise found
Wonderful tour--enjoyed every minute. Our guide Stephanie was very good. Al and Jo Murdach
A great way to visit some of the less well known areas of the city led by an excellent guide.
The walking tour was excellent. The guide was knowledeable ank knew interesting little stories about Venice's history that brought the city to life. Glad we took the toor.
It's always nice to discover Venice, even though you've been there lots of times there still hidden places and off the beaten track sites. Again, the guide's remarkable knowledge of history makes this tour more valuable and a must if you want to know Venice a little more than only what you see.
A terrific way to get a little off the beaten track and see things most people just walk past. Recommended.
The presence of a knowledgeable guide enabled me to see parts of Venice I wouldn't otherwise have seen.
