My husband and I went in the off season so the tour was not very crowded. The tour guide was friendly and gave the tour in German as well as English. We wish we could've had more time at each location. The glass blowing demonstration was great! And we were JUST about to buy something from the showroom when we realized we were out of time and had to get back to the boat. The last stop was Burano, the lace demonstration. It was interesting and the items were beautiful, but my husband and I were captivated by the colorful houses there. If the weather had been sunny it would've been fantastic, a total picture postcard location.

On the second leg of tour, I couldn't understand what was being said because there was a problem with audio. But overall it was nice.

The only complaint we had is there was definitely not enough time spent on each island. Only about 30 minutes on each. Not nearly enough time to walk around.

This trip was very nice, however we felt a little rushed on these islands. We would have liked to have had more time to shop and sightsee. The guides were knowledgeable and made it a a fun experience.

This is a good tour if you don't have a lot of time in Venice and still want to see some of the islands.

It was a great first intro to the waterways and neat islands of Venice, we all did some gift shopping. Great tour! Read up about the islands before you go.

Not much time on any of the islands. However, the guide was informative in several languages and helpful.

This was a good way to see the islands fairly quickly, but if you are expecting a guided tour, this would not the the one to choose. The guide provided minimal information about each location and Venice in general. She appeared disinterested in the exercise until it came to mentioning the tradition of tipping. I doubt anyone did tip, as the group we were with were fairly disgruntled about the tour by the end.

While heading to Burano, our guide did not give a potted history of glassmaking in Venice, or even mention the number of factories currently active. When we reached Torcello, she stayed on the boat and did not escort people down to the old part. We learnt more about Torcello by reading the information board near the old church!

In summary, the guide seemed more interested in her mobile phone than providing a guided tour. It may be better to just buy a day ticket for the water ferries and a guidebook!

This tour could have gotten three stars but our boat was late, which cut into our time on Murano. We barely had time for the glassblowing demonstration and did not see any more of the island. Burano was the best. It is a beautiful little village, and we had just the right amount of time to see it. Torcello had a long walk from the dock to the village, but the church there is beautiful inside. If you are short on time to see all three islands, this is the only way to go. The public water taxis that we passed were all very crowded.

Not enough free time allowed on the islands. Yes, we wanted to see a glass and lace demo, but we would have liked to absorb the villages' atmosphere as well. We went back on our own time and spent a day wandering the islands.

Our tour was delayed which we know probably can't be helped but no-one really explained to us what was happening. I think this may then have had a knock on affect for the tour. We felt that there was a disproportionate time spent on each stop, there was too much time at Torcello and very little time at Burano which we would have liked to explore more. All the stops are worth a visit but I think maybe we would have enjoyed exploring them independently more. Good if you just want a quick whistle stop tour round the three islands.
