Great tour guide
Saves time and frees you up not to worry about getting around.
This tour was amazing!
We ended up driving to the airport to return our car. When I talked to the transfer agent about getting transporation from the airport vs the originally intended train, they were very efficient and changed it immediately to leaving from the airport! We were so pleased. They loaded our luggage on a car and pushed it to the dock and we were off!! Of course, the lightening storm had us a bit nervous, but the boat captain was calm and reassuring. Right to the front door of our hotel, San Sebastiano. Awesome and we will use Viator again.
There was a representative waiting for us as we got off the train and she took us directly to our water taxi.
Great way to arrive at your hotel on a rainy day in Venice and on a busy day at the railway station
We would highly recommend this service and guide/company with one suggestion. On the instructions for meeting, it states to meet at the Garage Communale near a ticket office. Once off the train, we inquired as to where that was and were directed outside to the water where this vendor normally pulls up. We waited for about 20 min then asked a local if we could use their phone to call the local office. The guide was standing at the end of the train platform with a sign with our name on it and the porter. If we'd known that, we would have looked for that specifically. Luckily, the station was easily navigated with luggage and the guide was very friendly and helpful once we connected.
Our young man was very helpful and rode with us for awhile. He pointed out various buildings along the way and gave some details too.
It was suppose to be a night view of the Acropolis but was not. No pleasant walk through Plaka, was rushed!! The Greek tavern was ok, just too much of pulling people out of the audience to join the dancers, it was annoying, wanted to see Greeks dance not tourists!!
