This tour was fantastic. Well worth the money. Guide was lovely and very knowledgable
Great, especially with Chiara!!!
Our guide was outstanding. She was very personable, knowledgable, and went 'above and beyond' to customize our experiences to meet our individual interests. We would highly recommend her to anyone visiting the islands of Murano and Burano.
Really a great tour! One on one time with the tour guide really made a world of difference.
The tour guide met us at the hotel foyer and right away we warmed to her chatty style and discussion about the day ahead. The private water-taxi arrived on time and we were off to Murano to the glass blowing tour. Murano is all about the beautiful Venetian glass and the private tour was fascinating and very personalized to our needs.
Next we off to Torcello (while the itinerary has Burano next we wanted to do that last). All the while we were travelling and during the walk about our guide was telling us about the history and recent news including Princess Diana's trips.
Burano is the colorful island with every house painted a bring and different color to it's neighbor. The lace shops were a bit pricey and predictable.
All together a very good tour of the islands and much better than the mass tours we had heard about.

Loved the islands! I wish we had some time on Murano and Burano to wander. The guide was okay but almost made us feel like he wasn't very interested in sharing his knowledge with us -- it was just a job to him.
If you appreciate the high touch treatment its worth doing. We really like the private boat ride and the opportunity to travel throug Venice and get a historical overview of the city. Murano was short, we visited a glass blower, they tried to sell us merchandise. Burano was a nice fishing village, it would have been great is we could have had lunch there. Torcello was an ancient ruin, it was OK. Our guide Barbara was very knowledgable. Our driver was impressive.
So if your interested in build Murano glass, you won't have time and frankly you can buy most of this elsewhere cheaper than at the source. I'd do a trip to Burano and have lunch if I were to do it again.
