June 12th amazing
Once comfortable with so many eyes focused on you becomes the most romantic memorable experience.
Shall never be forgotten
As sappy as the idea seems, this actually is a LOTof relaxing fun. Our oarsman was skilled and kind. Our musician and vocalist and oarsman were REAL troopers since we got hit with a very rare summer hailstorm and rain deluge. The oarsman manuvered us under a bridge, but the gondola was too long to be completely covered. The oarsman and singer were soaked. All of us got pretty wet, but we laughed about it and it cooled us off. The musician had to protect his accordian, so we tried to keep him in the middle. The storm, unfortunately, spawned a deadly tornado a few miles away. For us, the ride was memorable and silly fun. I really appreciate the attitude of the singer and the oarsman who were forced to sit in the downpour and still laughed about it. What can you do?
This gondola ride was amazing. The ride was about 35 minutes and went through both the main canal as well as some smaller side canals. The musicians were beyond amazing and had people coming to the bridges to take pictures as we cruised underneath.
I know it seems like a touristy thing to do but even our 21 year olds thought it was amazing and the serenade made it perfect. We were singing Volare while seeing the back canals of Venice. Everyone who passed on foot smiling and waving it was so lovely. Do Not miss this wonderful gondola ride!
This was the epitome of Venice, a Gondola ride through the canals of Venice, with a musician and a singer - enjoyed this immensely and would highly recommend to all, have already been telling everyone that this is a MUST DO for Venice
It was organised for my birthday and it was wonderful, lovely memory to take away with me.
Loved not having to wait in the long line! Our guide was awesome and made the tour very interesting. Where to meet the guide was very clear and we had round stickers to wear for our tour so was easy to spot others in the group.
this tour was a real joy. i would recommend to others to be sure snd take gondola with serenade....
Excellent tour, not cheap but well worth the money for an individual tour through the quieter canals with our own musicians. Very friendly and good accordionist and singer who took requests! Would definitely recommend this tour to others.
Not cheap but the singing and playing was fab and my wife was suitably impressed if a little embarrassed! A gondola ride is a great way to see bits of Venice that you might not be able to see on foot, and a serenaded ride just makes it extra special. If you can afford it, do it!
OH MY, THE ABSOLUTE HIGHLIGHT OF MY EUROPE TRIP!!! This gondola ride was one of the most romantic things ever to experience, and the serenade almost had me in tears. I am so so happy that my husband and I were able experience this!! I am very happy we paid for a private gondola ride because we had the experience all to ourselves. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity as how often are you in Venice on a private gondola being serenaded??? Although pricey, I felt it was worth every penny. I loved every moment of it....I wish it was longer!!
This was pricey, but it was perfect. It was the start of my wife and I's honeymoon and it set the bar very high. The accordion was great, the singer was great, and could not have been a more perfect, romantic, authentic Venice experience.
Fantastic! Expensive, yes - but the singer and the accordion player were fabulous - and the gondola ride should not be missed! It made Venice for me (Venice was extremely busy when we were there). All so great.
This was a fantastic tour. My girlfriend and I booked this in addition to the tour that we were a part of and with two musicians and over a half of an hour through the canals it was just stunning.
I can't put into words how good this ride was. My wife and I were simply expecting the gondolier to be singing while traveling the canals. To our very pleasant surprise, we boarded the gondola with an accordion player and soprano. When she began to sing, we were simply in awe. Our private show was enjoyed by the many people walking the bridges of Venice, as well...but we felt as if this was our own private concert. A experience that will last in our memories forever!
