Excellent tour. This was one of the highlights of our trip. We took it the first evening we were there and it is a great way to get introduced to the city. Our guide Ivanno was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and informative. A great way to see the city.

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour as we were able to see more of the Venetian neighborhoods than we would have seen just by walking. Fiona provided excellent historical and architectural information that we would not have learned just from the guide books. She adapted our tour to show what we had not seen, and it was interesting to see more of Venice from the lagoon to understand the city.

Our guide was a very knowledgeable native Venetian who took us through the canal for two hours and then walked us to our hotel...We enjoyed it immensely !

OUTSTANDING! The tour guide was a native Venetian well versed in the history, art and architecture of Venice. This was my 5th trip to Venice, and my childrens' first, so the idea was more for them, but I enjoyed it just as much. A definite tour to do.

Most enjoyable trip and well worth doing. The only way it could be improved is to be supplied with some form of picture together with details of the various places pointed out and seen on the trip, or at least the major places of interest.

What was covered in 2 hours could have been covered by 1 hour. First off, the tour guide did not know it was 2 hours, then the tour started 20 mins late and finally the boat (taxi) had to be replaced. With all these things we managed to finish the tour by 1.5 hours approximately. Money charged for 2 hours is not worth it.

The guide was excellent. He really knew his way around. The length of the tour, though, was only 50-55 minutes. The add makes you think it's 2 hours but it's an hour boat ride with an hour walking tour. We couldn't all walk this far so we just did the boat ride. It was very expensive but be sure you know what you are buying. I'd do it again if I went back but the food is horrible in Venice, and very very expensive. Go once. Don't go back.

This trip was not good value for the money. It would have been better and far cheaper to spend 20 minutes reading a book, and taking a " Water Bus". The motor launch was 40 minutes late, and the windows were so dirty we had to stop the boat, and unsuccessfully clean the windows with 'salt water '.
