Fantastic! Our Private Tour Guide was a Venice
native who gave us a first class tour. She also recommended two restaurants which were great
and used by "locals".
All I can say is "wow!" This was a great tour, and Alex, our guide, was very knowledgable and quite fun. We had a wonderful afternoon with him discovering many of the less-touristy parts or Venice. He even took us for refreshements at a quiet little cafe where the owner served us light snacks and a local beverage made with bitter Campari and Prosecco. Alex was a rock star guide, and we can't recommend him enough. He made it a great day we will remember forever. Thanks, Alex (Alessadro)!!
Our private walking tour was the best!! Our guide was a native of Venice and was fanastic! She took us on the insiders tour of Venice. She showed us how to get around away from the crowds while showing us all the beautiful sites. I highly reccomend doing this trip when you first arrive in Venice. It made getting around so much easier for the rest of our trip!

Awesome three plus hours. Our guide, Stephania, was outstanding. She was lovely, gracious, and generous with her time. She was born in Venice and knew all of the out of the way places that make this tour fascinating. I highly recommend.
I would highly recommend our guide Francesco. He took us to parts of Venice that we would never have found by ourselves. His knowledge and passion for his city was wonderful. Thank you.
This was an excellent way to see and understand Venice. The guide was very knowledgeable.
Amazing guide, very interesting point of view on Venice everydy life, major historical events and places!
Very informative and interesting tour. We only had one day in Venice - so this was the best way to maximize our time.
Absolutely brilliant guide. We saw parts of Venice that we would never have seen and learned more than we could have on our own. Would recommend this trip very highly.
Excellent tour, visited all the places we wanted. Tour guide was excellent and very friendly. Highly recommended if you want to visit Venice at your own pace and take your time at the places where you're most interested.
This tour was definitely worth the price we paid. Our tour guide had a vast knowledge of Venice and its history. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who has limited time in Venice.
With the limited time we had in Venice, this private tour was the way to go. Our guide was knowledgeable and brought us to places we would otherwise would not have gone.
I had never done this before. My guide was amazing. She took us all over Venice and gave us insights we couldn't have gotten any other way. Plus she showed us how to get a short gondola ride for 1 euro!
Excellent. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and this was our best tour during our 2 week stay in Italy!
Good experience. But, it turns out there are two levels of guides. One is licensed as a full guide. The other is a part time guide. Regretfully, we had a part time guide. Although he was knowledgeable about Venice because he has lived there his entire life and we got sort of an insiders view, I would have also liked more art history.
Our tour guide was very informative and very knowlegable about the history of Venice. our three hour tour very well organized and ran very smoothly. I would highly recomend this tour.
My husband and I were so excited to share Venice with our kids for the first time and your tour, at the end of our last full day in Venice, was the icing on the cake! We all learned so very much and saw so many "hidden gem" sights and heard so many wonderful stories - this was the highlight of our time in Venice! A native to Venice, she navigated the maze of streets and canals with ease! She was even able to deliver us to a small, out of the way, leather store on time! We enjoyed the cocktail break and her recommendations for venetian specialties to try. Our only disappointment was that we were not told that she would be unable to go inside to tour sights and we had left the basilica for this tour as we were told by the rep on the phone that we could customize the tour and go wherever we wanted to during our time with the guide. However, we are still very happy we saw all the off the beaten trail sights and were able to hear all the wonderful history she imparted.
The guide was very knowledgable and friendly, and has showed us to places that were very interesting and where the locals usually hang out at. Though, the tour is a bit too tiring.
Probably was wonderful. We lost our guide after the first church. Too many people, and we're too short. We did get to go on the boat ride in the afternoon.
We signed up for "Venice" half day tour and it felt much more like the hidden tour. We focused on the residential areas and really didn't focus on the main attractions of the city. We only had 24 hours in the city and although we learned a lot it was quite expensive. The guide was thoughtful and very smart. We didn't get everything we wanted out of it.
