This experience was good, arrived on time and took us very near station
We were picked up by water taxi at exactly the time they said they would. We had a very nice transfer travelling around the canals enjoying the view which was a very good end to our Venice holiday. This was a shared transfer but no-one else was picked up so we enjoyed the journey by ourselves. Would highly recommend to family and friends.
Excellent service. We were picked up at our departure point as instructed. We received a fax the evening before at our hotel explaining the pickup time and pickup point with time to arrive. Our Venice hotel was not far from departure point. Boat driver was on time and assisted us with our bags. The boat is usually a taxi boat which is quick and spacious. We arrived at train station dock with plenty of time for our train. Driver was courteous and helpful when I asked for best direction to enter train station. I would definitely recommend.
On time pick up, although the driver didn't have the right drop off information we needed to go to the train station and he thought we were getting off at the airport we made it to the train station just in time to board our train. Just make sure you let your driver know where your drop off is and you'll be fine.
Easy transport to train station. I would only recommend that you don't schedule too early because you don't need much time on the train.
On time! Professional! A nice way to arrive at the train station. Pickup right in front at the dock at our hotel. Lovely! Great way to leave Venice. Don't arrange to get picked up too early though because there is not much to do at the train station.
I give this 5 stars even though the driver forgot to take us to the train station at first lol. It was great though. I thoroughly enjoyed watching him bounce to the jazz music on his radio and then Miami Vice our boat to the train station from the airport thus, getting us to the train station on time. He has a great attitude and really started our day off right. Tell him we said thank you.
Excellent, the water taxi was on time. My husband and I were the only passengers!! The hotel received our reminder of our pick up time and directions to the meeting point. This is a great service and will use Visitor for our future trips.
This is a must for a new visitor to this city. Maneuvering a city on water was very interesting. The boats were on time as promised.
Viator was great and easy to use..right in the Venice Airport..had to walk to the dock to pick up the boat...would use them again.
Met at airport
Transferred straight away to pier and then on to destination in venice city
On return had to wait a little longer than the meeting time given
All in all very good transfers
Once you know where to meet after learning on the way in, convenient when leaving as no time is lost. Also get to meet and talk to other travellers. A much better experience going out rather than coming in.
We wandered down to the Grand Cannel some 50 metres from our hotel to the meeting point faxed to our hotel some 20 minutes before the time given. Two minutes later a water taxi arrived and called our names. Loaded up and straight through to the cannels to the railway station in 15 minutes. Great service, could not recommend more strongly.
I would give it five stars because the driver was awesome. My complaint is that it clearly states (from your hotel.) The pick up for me was at a water taxi stand somewhat near my hotel. I purposely booked this with the understanding that I would be picked up at my hotel. It ended up being fine, but I think it is misleading.
Transfer person was not friendly at all and we got to train station way too early. Sat around for a good hour and a half, but I suppose better early than late.
Although the pick up was on time and again a fantastic ride on the canals, because it obviously is a shared service and had to fit it with other people it really was far too early for our needs. We needed to be at the rail station for between 10 to 10.30 for a 10.50 departure, but because of an 8.00 pick up we were hanging around at the station for over 2 hours. I would probably not use this service again for a return, now that I understand the transport system better in venice
We did have a private boat for this transfer to the train station which was nice. The only reason I rated this low was because the boat would only pick us up on their designated time, which meant we arrived at the train station 2 1/2 hours before our departure time. Departing from the train station is not like the airport….you only need to be at the train station 20-30 before your departure time.
