Behind the scenes look at the power behind Venice and the pain that they inflicted to maintain that power. My wife and I loved the tour. Probably the best throughout our stay in Venice.

This was a simply superb Tour. The guide was excellent, the content fascinatin but for me the extra ingredient of 'getting under the skin' of the old Venice and seeing and learning the other things which general visitors wouldn't get - is really the tour stand out.

This was the second tour we did in Venice, and, unbelievably, it was even better than the first! The guide was brilliant and answered questions about paintings and history that were not on the actual itinerary. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough, worth every Euro!

A very good guide, very easy to understand! Even though we had to see a lot it didn't feel rushed. And you have time on your own at the Palace after the tour. I liked that the guide gave a lot of information about the history of the place and the art found in the palace!

The tour guide really made the difference and the one we had was great, very energetic and just kept going. She gave us a lot of information and showed us things we would never be able to see by ourselves. By the way, this tour is mainly inside the Doges Palace.
