Great tour. The use of individual earphones to hear the guide was terrific. This was much better than the groups that used megaphone-type broadcasting, which was very noisy and interfered with the rest of us. The guide was very fluent in English, did a good job of gathering her group, and gave great directions at the end of the tour.

Great guide, in only 2 hours we felt we had learned a huge amount about Venice's history and culture. Saw the main sites, would NEVER have found our way without a guide on a quick tour of the city.

We had a very knowledgeable guide, she had a microphone so you can hear in a big group. No earphones though, but I still absolutely recommend it!

Our guide was fabulous, knowledgeable and informative. This was our third visit to Venice, and we gained more knowledge on this walking tour than any guidebook could have or does provide. Can't rate it highly enough.

This tour is ideal for your first visit to Venice as it gives you a concise history of Venice while you walk through St Mark's Square, peep inside St Mark's Basilica and wind your way through Venice's maze of streets and canals to the Rialto Bridge. Our tour guide was informative, friendly and knew well the history of her native Venice.

It was a good 2 hour walk, taking in the main tourist sights like St Mark's Square and the Rialto, but also some of the small typical Venetian squares off the tourist track. The guide was Venetian with excellent English, and her knowledge of the history of Venice was superb. Definitely the trip to do on your first day in Venice.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and good fun. Perhaps suggest that people visit the Basilica in their own time.

The guide was very good. We were about 20 minutes late, but somebody was waiting for us and made sure that we joined the others who had left already. I thought this was worth mentioning.

What a wonderful guide! We really enjoyed this tour and our guide was very entertaining, as she told us stories about Venezia of old and showed us through the lovely old streets. Thoroughly recommended!

We considered this a must do and it was very good. Couldn't have asked for a better guide who's knowledge was vast.
