Excellent guide; very informative; easy to find tour beginning but organization of the large group into smaller groups was confusing and took too much time
This was a wonderful tour - what a great way to see so much of this beautiful city! This is definitely worth it....you'll enjoy!
We really enjoyed this tour. Very informative and helpful in deciphering exactly what you are looking at! Venice is a beautiful city, but tricky to get around, and this really helped!
Our guide was knowledgeable about what we saw and gave some relevant background about the history of Venice. The tour took us into some narrow alleyways and interesting courtyards, A good way for Introduction to Venice. Highly recommended.
First class your guide has perfect English - 8 minutes inside was just perfect and then guided tour through streets brilliant - what ever you pay her double it!
brilliant tour, our guide was fantastic, so knowledgeable and enthusiastic and interesting really good and no queues!!
FANTASTIC!!
This was an absolute highlight and I can't recommend it enough. Our tour guide was a true local Venetian, and was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We were traveling with our young daughter (1.5 yrs) and pram, while there obviously were stairs it was fine and definitely manageable!
There are some obvious sites to see in Venice like St Mark's Basilica and Square, but there are so many other wonderful places and stories that she was able to tell us. Once we were walking the "backstreets" of Venice, away from the crowds, it was really amazing and enjoyable to hear and learn about how Venice evolved and how the people live.
I think our guides name was Rita - this walking tour was so good it prompted us to book one for our next stop which was Florence!

A really good introduction to Venice. I always like to do a general tour to get my barings and it certainly did that. Gave a good historical background too which helped to put things into context and highlighted some areas to go back to and spend more time in.
An extremely informative and enjoyable walking tour. Our guide was friendly, spoke excellent English and was attentive to the needs of the group. All in all an excellent trip that was very good value for money. Highly recommended.
The Skip the Line: Venice Walking Tour with St Mark’s Basilica is a tour of amazing contrasts. The first part covers the most important attractions in Venice around the bustling Piazza San Marco. In the second, you negotiate the labyrinth of alleyways and bridges over the canals to quiet secluded places and beautiful squares (campos) free from crowds. The route ends at the famous Rialto Bridge next to the Grand Canal.
