This tour is in 2 parts - a 3 hour walking tour and a one hour boat tour later in the day. The walking tour is excellent - skip the line is really worthwhile as the lines are huge. The walking tour is quite draining (we had a very hot day). You will need to take water but beware- public toilets are nowhere to be found! You will need to buy a drink in a cafe to use the toilets. The boat tour gave a totally different perspective - much smaller group (about 6) and our guide was very knowledgable. We only had a limited time in Venice - this tour enabled us to make the most of our time.

Nice two hour walking tour around Venice and then several hours break, we had a motorboat tour on the canals. Nice way to learn about and see the highlights of Venice.

Very good guides, both the walk and the boatrip. We felt well taken care of. You learn to know Venice, the history and geography, and more, in a fun and easy way. Highly recommendable

I would recommend this tour. We were able to see the highlights of venice in one day which left other days to relax and enjoy this beautiful city on our own. The tour is in 2 sections. The morning is a walking tour, and the afternoon is a boat tour. This left time for a relaxing lunch on our own. We gained a very good understanding of the city and were able to fully enjoy the remainder of our time experiencing the beaufy, wine, and food of the city, as well as shopping.

Beautiful city, so many things to see, the water taxis are the best, good way to see things from the water, amazing.

This was a pleasant informative tour only problem the headsets weren't working well.
After a break which was long enough to get a meal the second half the boat trip on the grand canal was for me the highlight of the day.The guide was extremely knowledgeable friendly and had a real enthusiasm about venice.

Venice can be a very confusing city to navigate. Our tour guide pointed out all of the must sees in just two hours. The boat trip was a great way to see all of the different architecture. We enjoyed the tour imensly.

This was a great introduction to this beautiful city and gave an excellent overview of the city with a fast track into the Bacillica - amazing and a great boat trip along the Grand Canal to get your bearings from the water. Well worth doing and great value for money.

Very pleased with the tour. It was really two sperate items, a walking tour in the morning and a water taxi ride around Venice and all the was through the Grand Canal. Had onlt three folks in my boat with the guide. Both tour guides were very good with general although detailed narative and the ability to answer my many questions. Were very punctual and each guide had an amplified micophone so everybody could hear.

Our group of 4 ladies enjoyed this day with a very informative tour guide and visiting all the great sites. The canal tour again was a top tour esp going into the open sea and looking back at the island, seeing the planes land and the train travelling along. an amazing place is Venice.

Roberta is clearly a passionate art historian and she shared many fascinating facts about the Renaissance and the arts and artists of Florence. I really enjoyed this tour and I would readily do another gallery tour if the were all as good as this one. Roberta was one of the two best tour guides to date.
