Fantastic tour! A great way to explore Florence, especially if it's your first visit. Our guide was knowledgeable, interesting, and kept our attention throughout the tour.
Both the walking and boat tour were very interesting and enjoyable. The meeting place was easy to find and ran to time. I found it a little difficult to hear the commentary on the walking tour with the one ear earpiece. The guide on the boat tour was totally charming and very expressive about her love of Venice. I highly recommend the Venice in One Day to travellers who want to get orientated while learning about some of the wonderful history in breathtaking Venice.
Excellent guide Gina used her local knowledge to lead us away from the crowds and entertain us with her quick sense of humour. Avoided the huge wait in the line into St Marks worth every cent
Easy meeting place. Informative tour guides. Wonderful grand canal boat tour.
This was a great tour! After the walking tour through city highlights we had a boat ride around Venice that was fabulous! We had six people plus the tour guide so there was plenty of room to stand and take photo shots and the boat that was chartered for our group was a gorgeous all wood varnished and very nice looking and comfortable ride.
Guide was excellent and both the walking and boat tours informative and interesting
A brilliant lady conducted this tour which involved a walking tour in the morning and an afternoon boat trip. Her English was excellent and she had wide ranging knowledge of Venice. The wait between the tours was, however, too long.
Excellent way to see it all in one day, particularly if you are planning a short trip. The guide was excellent.
It was a wonderful half day tour. Our guides were full if information!
Better than expected: tour guide was friendly and helpful, she showed us things in Venice you don't normally get to see, was very knowledgeable, the radios worked well, her umbrella worked well as a guide point, she gave us enough time to take photos.
The boat trip was fascinating: actually got to see where the Venetians live and the seamier side of the city.
All in all, well worth the money. Venice need not be expensive!
