This tour was absolutely wonderful! The guide was so knowledgeable and she spoke so passionately about Venice that you would never want her to stop. Besides, she was friendly, available and full of friendly suggestions on how to make the most of our stay in Venice. Furthermore, the Grand Canal Tour was a very pleasant experience and we enjoyed it immensely. The tour was three hours long - two hours on foot and one hour later on in the afternoon on the boat. There are some four hours between the end of the walking tour and the boat trip so you would also have the time to experiment further what the walking tour guide would have explained. Great experience in any case! I would definitely recommend it.

The walking tour gave us an appreciation of Venice and the Grand Canal Boat Tour was well worth the price. We had a great tour guide and the tour included a glass of wine. Nice touch!!

This was SO great! The tour guide was a walking encyclopedia, extremely knowledgeable with facts, dates and interesting tidbits. I'd recommend it to anyone. Both tour guides, walking and canal were fabulous!

The guide was fantastic and we learned so many things about Venice that you just wouldn't know if you did a visit by yourself. For somebody who isn't keen on history, I was enthralled even if she did tell me off for interrupting her! Wasn't expecting such a small group in water taxi for the canal ride and again this was lovely - the guide was very nice as well. Money well spent!

Great tour. Absolutely loved all of the info our guide had and all of the streets we walked away from the beaten path. And the tour of the Grand Canal just topped it off.

A great value and the perfect way to learn about Venice. The guides were friendly, personable and engaging, and the small groups made the experience feel like a private tour. Loved the boat tour, too! Well worth it.

Beautiful and so interesting. Crowded and hot but well worth the trip. I would definitely recommend this tour so you will not have to wait in line for hours.

What an excellent way to see Venice. The guide was lovely and so knowledgeable; we beat all the crowds and learnt so much. It was such a hot day, and the guide made sure we found plenty of shady areas when she explained about the place of interest we were at. Ladies, remember to take a scarf for when you go into the churches. The boat trip was excellent, fun and very friendly, and there was champagne, which was unexpected. Great way to see Venice. A must for all visitors, can highly recommend.

Definitely worth every penny. Our guide's extensive knowledge of historical and modern Venice was informative even for me, a real treat since I had already been in Venice on a prior trip. We also loved the boat tour as it gave us many views of Venice I don't believe we would have seen otherwise. For your time budgeting, know that they drop you off at the Rialto Bridge--public bathrooms nearby. They allow you about an hour between the walking tour and the boat ride, which was just the the right amount of time to grab a snack, break for a few minutes and return to the meeting place.
