The tour is well worth the money. Because we were in Venice on Sunday, the tour was late in the afternoon, by then the line for San Marco was very long and we walked right in. The tour guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. I loved walking the tiny streets which I would have never done alone in afraid of getting lost. The tour ended with a wonderful tour of the Grand Canal along with the smaller waterways. The guide for the boat trip was also enthusiatic and wonderful. The timing of the tour was very precise and well run.

Our guide, Arianna, was very sharing with her knowledge of the history of Venice. The walking tour was very informative. Learning about how the different islands were settled and how the different districts were built is very educational. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning the history of Venice.

What a great tour (which is really two tours in one)!!
The walking tour of Venice provided a great introduction to the city, including viewing the beauty of St. Mark's. Our guide, Maria, was excellent. Very informed and entertaining throughout our walking tour.
The boat tour (and this is a boat, not a gondola) was also great. Our guide, Sergio, was high energy, very knowledgeable and highly entertaining. Although there was some overlap with information we received and sights we saw in the walking tour, the boat tour gave us a great view of a number of sights covering a much wider area.
Having a break between the walking tour and the boat tour was great. It gave us time to have a wonderfully relaxing lunch near the grand canal by the Rialto Bridge, as well as meandering through a number of the streets of the city.
We highly recommend this tour.

This was an excellent tour covering both a morning walk and an afternoon water-taxi ride.
The morning tour was well organised led by an enthusiastic guide and covered St Mark’s Square, the Basilica and a residential area off the usual tourist routes. We benefited from the fast line into the Basilica but were ushered through rather quickly with little time to linger but this seemed to be due to the policy of the church authorities not the guide. In all settings the guide showed herself to be well-informed, responsive to questions and keen to share her first-hand knowledge of Venice. The afternoon tour was at least equally enjoyable. There were some organisational problems at the outset due to an imbalance between the expected and actual numbers in our group but these were resolved quickly and effectively. The water tour covered not only the Grand Canal but also a number of side canals as well as the more ‘industrial’ areas and around the cruise ship docking area. Not only was this tour comprehensive but it was led by an enthusiastic and humorous guide who identified and gave us an informative history of the particular points of interest on the route. Overall, this tour was well worth the money and I would strongly recommend it to anyone visiting Venice

Excellent tour. Using headphones to listen to the tour guide meant that nothing was missed of the commentary by our intelligent and friendly tour guide. The backstreets part of the tour was particularly enjoyable. Be ready to walk fast to keep up and wear sturdy footwear!

How absolutely delightful! The first 2 hours was informative and the tour guide made a point of repeating a few facts throughout the walking to better ensure some of the more important details stuck. Having a break between the walking tour and the boat tour allowed us to have a leisurely shop and relaxed lunch. So the boat trip helped cap off a relaxing afternoon. I highly recommend this especially if you're interested in learning a few easily digestable facts about this lovely city at a comfortable and relaxed pace. Brava.

Definately recommend this one. Well worth skipping the lines - there are at least a couple of thousand people outsde St Marcs - went and saw Marco Pollo's house - this was interesting. The afternoon cruise was excellent - very informative guide and saw a lot of stuff you just can't get to by walking. Definately recommend this one.
