This is a trip not to be missed! Venice is a little overwhelming for both newcomer and seasoned traveler. This guided tour captured the city's highlights and the flavor of the people in a charming, time-efficient manner. We initially discussed skipping the second half of this tour, the Grand Canal cruise with complimentary wine, thinking it would be short and cutesy. Boy, were we wrong! So glad we showed up for an hourlong, informative, thoroughly enjoyable cruise with yet another talented guide! Comparing notes with fellow travelers, all admitted we had the best tour in terms of value, time and memories. Thanks again.

Incredibly knowledgeable lady guide, who took us to all the truly important sites and most importantly, provided great historical details. Definitely skipped the line! Great to get ahead of the looong crowd! Well organized, with headsets and meeting place away from huge crowds at San Marcos Square. We loved it and highly recommend it!!

Walking tour was fabulous. Guide was a Venetian with great sense of humour. Canal tour also good. Great way to reconnoitre you location before going off by yourself.

We actually missed the St. Mark's part of the tour because of train issues, but our contact at Viator suggested we meet the guide for the boat part of the tour. We did this and loved it! It was a great way to see the Grand Canal.

The walking tour was great. We had individual headphones, so it was very easy to hear the guide. The guide was very passionate of her city. The afternoon water taxi tour was just as wonderful. Really gives you a good view of life from the water. Highly recommended.

This was a fantastic tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and really down-to-earth on descriptions of St Mark's Square and also the behind-the-scenes tour of the family living areas of the island. I loved Rialto Bridge.

Loved both the walking tour and the boat trip, but the boat trip should have been right after the walking tour finished. Had to come back later for the boat and had to change other plans.

Just wanted to mention that we missed our trip on the day we booked and wanted to thank Viata for letting us attend the following day. It was much appreciated. The Grand Canal tour and walking tour was absolutely fabulous!

Wonderful tour guides knew about the city. One of the few tours that we felt we got our money's worth. Fell in love with Venice.

This was a gem of a tour, it really gave you some great background to the history of Venice and walking around with a guide was a great way to get your bearings. Jumping the queue into the Basilica as well was very handy!! The boat tour was also very enjoyable as it gave you another view of the city from a totally different perspective. The guide was very helpful and informative even pointing out the best region to visit to get the best prices in Venice!!

This is a tour that everyone would enjoy! We learned so much about the historic area while enjoying a wonderful boat ride up the canal. The walking tour was also very educational and our guide was one of the best we experienced during our many tours in Europe this summer!

Everything was great! I would do it again. Be sure to get to the train station at least two hours before the tour starts. Venice is a rats' nest of "streets," and you will need extra time to find your way around. I used the heck out of the contact number on my Viator invoice to coordinate the meet with the tour guide. Be sure your cell phone works.

The tour was great, especially when we don't have to wait in the line. Our guide was very knowledgeable about Venice history and the Grand Canal boat tour was very fun.
