This was truly an Awesome experience. The local tour operator was very professional and really friendly. since we were just three people for this tour, it was very personalized and like a private tour. I couldn't have asked for a more peaceful way of booking a Gondola ride. Otherwise imagine bargaining there with the gondoliers!. Good job Viator and the local tour operator!. The Gondolier was very friendly as well and patiently answered so many of my questions. It was really a fabulous experience. Note, I was not even asked for any extra tips!. Thoroughly professional!. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

A very good trip, it turned out to be just the three of us in the gondola so it felt like a private tour. We were taken down some smaller canals and had some landmarks pointed out to us before making our way back along the Grand Canal. It was well worth the cost and would certainly recommend it.

It was an exceptional experience. The one hour tour was a full hour in comparison to the 25 minute gondola with singer. We had only one other couple with us in the gondola and enjoyed the singer from the other gondola's next to us.

There was a representative waiting for us from Viator on arrival and all went smoothly. We paid for a group gondola ride, but noone else was booked in so we got the gondola to ourselves. Ended up being a great deal!

This 50 min Gondola ride including the grand canal was great and reasonably priced considering what they charge when you are there. There was only four of us, which was fine with us, but if you want a private tour this probably isn't for you. Scope out the location to meet before hand as it is very easy to get lost in Venice and we almost missed the ride!! Once you find the location there is a guide there waiting and they direct you to the gondola which was good.

Well organised and we got straight on a gondola. Very relaxing way to see Venice. You do see a lot of sights that you would not get to see on foot.

No complaints, the trip was all OK. We were met by a chap called Julien who seemed very helpful and after a short walk to the gondola station off we went. We had a full 45 minutes from start to finish - we returned to the same start point, shared with some nice folk from US and Australia. Wonder slightly if I'd have done better just booking it locally (the rendezvous was quite a haul from where we were staying) but I've no complaints - payed a few euros more for doing through Viator but on balance probably worth it. Would recommend to new visitors like us but next time we'll probably fly solo. Bottom line - you can't beat seeing Venice from a gondola.

Where else are you going to drift thru streets of water? Gondola rides are a very touristy thing to do, however i still am glad i did it, and it was a nice time.

The ride was great the problem was that we had a confirmed reservation for 4:00PM and when we arrived they told us that it was wrong. We could not go on the ride until 6:30PM. This spoiled our afternoon.

Good value for money compared to other rides on gondola. Would have preferred to spend more of the time on the smaller canals rather than the busy grand canal.

Good tour but WAS VERY hard to find the location. Had to walk a long way when Gondolas are every where in Venice so why bother ??
