Again this is the only way to travel to the airport if you are staying at a hotel that has water way access. We were met by a very nice gentleman when the boat docked and then driven to the airport, If you have anyone traveling that has a physical handicap this is a great way to go.

Since our group of four included my 80-year-old mother, for whom this was the first trip to Italy, I wanted to ensure a smooth, stress-free transfer from the door of the hotel to the airport terminal. The service was perfect, convenient and helpful. In addition, we had wonderful final photo opportunities in Venice and along the entire route the airport. Spectacular service and gracious staff. Our guide came to hotel early. Met us and took us across the road to our awaiting water taxi.
A porter was waiting for us when we arrived at the airport and carried our luggage to inside the terminal. Fantastic service. Takes all the worry out of transfers.

This service was better than the arrival in that both the man who met me at the hotel and the water taxi driver made sure I was able to get to my flight without any difficulty, helping me with my bags and showing me where I could get a cart to use for the heavy suitcases.
