We really enjoyed this tour. The only recommendation I have is that when the person in charge is selecting the people for each boat, he should be more friendly and upbeat. I know they deal with hundreds of tourists each day and get a bit tired, but that's no reason to treat people like they are a bother. I felt that the man who was in charge the evening we were there was not very friendly. He came across as being annoyed and bothered by us. It's his job, and we were paying customers, and I feel we should have been at least greeted with a smile.

Our actual Gondola Serenade was lovely, once we did it! We arrived at the departure point at the appointed time of 7:15 p.m. for 7:30 p.m. departure, only to find a line of nearly one hundred people, all waiting for the limited number of Gondolas available, and chaos reigned! It was spoiled for us because we had rushed to get there, and then had to wait an hour and a half until 8:40 p.m. to get on to the Gondola. The serenade was delightful, and really is a must if you are visiting Venice.

Make sure to get in line early so that you can choose where you would like to sit!

My daughter and myself were given this as a birthday present. It was a wonderful part of our evening. The only thing I would say is that the greeting leaves much to be desired. We felt a bit like cattle being shunted on to a cattle truck; there was no personal touch, and when you have paid a reasonable amount I don't think a greeting is to much to ask.

We had an exceptional singer, and going on the canals at night was special. As we were two mates travelling, the fact that we shared our gondola with four others was fine.

It was a nice trip, and we enjoyed the night. However, the price is expensive; if you rent a gondola in Venice directly you pay something around 150 euros, while with this you share a gondola with six people.

We really enjoyed the evening gondola serenade. Be aware that only the seats at the back of the gondola are together and you don't get to choose your seat. The musician and singer were both good. We had an enjoyable time.

Just remember to bring an extra jacket, it can get cool in the evening.

Really fun and relaxing. I had enjoyable conversations with other gondola riders from different parts of the world.

The gondola serenade was great. Be sure to arrive extra early though. We were there the recommended fifteen minutes early and had to wait for the next shift an hour later. Another group came forty five minutes early and were sent away for being too early, and then missed out like us. Maybe thirty minutes before the ride would guarantee that you get on.

We enjoyed the experience very much. Make sure you queue early. We were lucky enough to get on a gondola next to the gondola with the serenader in it. It ended rather quickly, though, instead of the forty to fifty minutes advertised, it was more like thirty or thirty five minutes. Nonetheless, I highly recommend it.

We had a very nice evening. I would recommend this without hesitation as the best way to experience a gondola ride without having to bargain with a gondolier.

A very good value for the money. It gives a person the experience of a gondola ride without paying huge amount of money.

The ride was wonderful. It was especially fun to have all of the gondolas go at the same time and to hear the music and the singing as we went around the buildings through the canals. The gondoliers were professional and very capable at their job. We had a wonderful time, and the ride was beautiful. I would recommend this as a must-do for everyone going to Venice.

Lovely, absolutely loved it! There were around half dozen gondolas; one had a singer and piano accordion, and they serenaded the group through the canals of Venice. Not overly romantic, as the gondola was full with other people, but still very nice. I highly recommend it!
