Gondola ride excellent. Unfortunately the welcoming staff need lessons in customer care as they were positively rude to everybody.

The gondola ride was fine; music was nice, although at times we couldn't hear it since we were the lead boat and the music was behind us. Difficult to find the exact area, and the vaporetto water bus doesn't drop you very close to the meeting place, so we had to search for it. Better directions would have been helpful since this was our first trip to Venice.

This was a very good trip. Cannot fault this at all. If being picky, due to you sharing the gondola with other people it sometimes does not feel as romantic as you would like. If anything it inspires you to think about paying for a rather expensive personal gondola ride. Very good tour and well worth doing if you are on a budget trip and still want to experience Venice on a gondola.

That was one of the best things that we experienced in Venice! The singer was awesome, the musician was great, we caught a lot of envious looks from the people who had chosen just a ride without a serenade. Definitely would recommend adding this event to your things to do in Venice list.

Pretty touristy, but it was worth it. We had quite an adventure when we got caught in a downpour and had to take refuge in the gondoliers' dressing room.

It was wonderful to show up with a piece of paper at the designated time. While the gondoliers seemed as though they've held their job for far too long, it is still an experience you must take advantage of while in Venice. We're ultimately glad we did it!

We absolutely loved the gondola ride & serenade. We were not on the gondola with the music, but, for the most part, we could hear the music. The only problem was that our gondolier was extremely noisy; he talked and shouted continuously throughout the entire tour to the gondolier in front of us. I requested many times that he stop so that we could enjoy the music & the serenity of the ride, but to no avail. He was extremely unfriendly & did not seem to care that his loudness was extremely annoying.

Great way to see Venice inside and out. I thought the serenade would be a bit lame but it was terrific. The singer was excellent and really into it.

We enjoyed our gondola ride very much. There was a group of us that went out together. We were the first gondola and could hear the singer/musician very well. It is something everyone should do when vacationing in Venice.

Lots of fun for our family. Singer was on another Gondola so be prepared for this. Don't take if you want a romantic cruise but it was fun for my family.

Having a gondola ride in Venice is a definite must. Yes, it is a tourist attraction but this is the one thing that sets Venice apart from everywhere else. Our ride was very nice. We were one of several gondolas sailing together. We rode along with 4 other people in our gondola. Thankfully, we were able to sit together, unlike one other couple who HAD to sit apart. We did hear a serenade, unfortunately, he was on another gondola not ours. Overall, it was very nice and still romantic even if we weren't alone. The nice thing about scheduling it through Viator is that the ride is already set up for you. Even though there are many gondola operators, you don't have to go around trying to talk in your broken Italian unless you know it fluently and have to ask details as to how much the ride is, where they'll take you, how long the ride will be, will there be an actual serenade, etc. Through Viator, it just made it easier.

We went with maybe six other gondolas, had a great tour of the canals and lovely singing from another gondola in our party. I heard from others that their experience with a gondola tour was not as nice as ours. I highly recommend this so you know what you're getting.
