The guide was very knowledgeable and pointed out things that we wouldn't have known about had we not been on this trip. I was a bit wary of it lasting 1 hour 10 minutes as I thought it may get a bit boring, but the time flew by and we really enjoyed it.

Really interesting - lots of information about Venice - had a really great time.

We would recommend this as one of your first tours in Venice. It will give you a good sense of the city and the canal. Our guide was a young man who grew up in Venice and had a good knowledge of the history and buildings that we saw. His English was good. The tour was limited to only about 9 people. The boat's engine noise stops this from earning 4 stars.

Good organisation, a well worthwhile trip. However it was very difficult to hear the tour guide inside and at the back of the boat as the engine was so loud and noisy. This was disappointing as there was so much information to learn as we cruised the Grand Canal.

Lots of fun. The guide was fun and knowledgeable and made a great introduction to the city.

Very good trip although we nearly missed out. Despite being told to look for a person waving a card for the tour, none was visible. Upon eventually finding the woman, who was standing at the side of a seller, we were told the boat had gone! Fortunately the woman got us on a tour. Very good trip, let down by poor directions about where to board.

Well worth doing for a unique view from the water but we sat at the back and couldn't hear a single word of the commentary over the noise of the boat's engine.

This tour provides a view of Venice that cannot be seen any other way.

Nice tour, but in the boat it was hard to see some things unless you were standing. It was still fun, and we got free wine, too!

Interesting and enjoyable.

While this was definitely worth doing, the trip nearly didn't take place at all as we were told at the meeting place that the details we had been sent by Viator were wrong and that the trip left an hour earlier. A number of us were 'in the same boat' sorry for the pun. However, in view of Viator's error, a boat was hired and the trip went ahead, with the bottle of wine being handed on board by one of your staff halfway through the trip.

The tour was enjoyable, despite the chilly weather. We chose to sit outside because viewing inside the boat appeared a little restricted - windows small. However, by sitting outside we were unable to hear any commentary. Was a good boat ride; however, would not do it again.

Although the commentary was fairly interesting, I felt that for the price there could have been more to it.

Complete waste of our time. Could have taken the public transport boat and seen the same thing. Tour guide was more interested in talking on her cell phone and had very poor English. We did not understand a lot of what she said. Unfortunately I had invited another family to join us so 2 families wasted a lot of money.
