Everything went like clock work, the boat transfer company was there and it didn't take more the 20 minutes to get our boat.

The pickup was OK though we had to wait because another party were misplaced. The drop-off was not the best as we had to carry three suitcases a fair distance to our hotel. I know that it would be impossible to take everyone right to their hotels, but in our case it would have been simple to have taken us that little bit further, which would have made the experience of arriving in Venice all that more pleasant.

Arrival transfer went well. The staff were prompt and instructive in accommodating our walk from the airport to the water taxi dock. The taxi driver was not as responsive to us about the best dock or station to off load near our hotel. Suggest offering Venice maps with marked highlighted routes through the streets directing travelers to their lodgings.

This was fine, but we had to wait 45 minutes for them to show up.

We had to wait well over an hour, and the attitude of the girl in the booth left a lot to be desired. Rude and unhelpful. Eventually she took off for the dock without even letting us know, and because my husband is disabled and has walking difficulties he could not keep up. When he asked her name she accused us of having an attitude! The transfer was OK, although I was literally pushed off the taxi at the stop. The driver was not paying attention and talking to a colleague, and I almost lost my balance.

We had to wait for 30 minutes at the airport for other people's arrivals. Then about 8 minute's walk with luggage to the boat. Boat takes about 25 minutes. If you are prepared to take a boat that takes 50 minutes, I would recommend you take the water bus. It's half the price of this one.

We had to wait about 45 to 50 minutes for the people sharing our boat. The driver was somewhat surly and made no real attempt to find out where we were staying. He just kept saying he was dropping us at San Angelo. As we had never been to Venice before we did not realise that this stop was nowhere near where we were staying. We then had a walk, with suitcases of nearly an hour to find our hotel. As we had given you details of our hotel I found this very disappointing. After an early start to our day and a 2 hour flight this was not a very good start to our holiday.

Much more expensive than getting your own taxi when you arrive at the airport.

We had to pay 20 Euro extra to Taxi driver to drop us near the hotel.

All was well except for the finish - the water-taxi driver let us off not on our hotel's landing under the lame pretext of low tide but some other landing and we had to carry our heavy suitcase up and down the steps of the bridge leading to our hotel.

The trip itself was great, however, we were the last flight needing to be picked up so we had to wait over an hour. The young man at the desk was fine, but the young lady on duty was rude and did not even stop her telephone conversation, she just pointed. The boat was excellent as was the driver.

The price wasn't bad, but I don't recommend this for anyone who might move a little slower or be hoping for a helping hand when you arrive. The lady working the desk was not even there yet when our plane arrived. Once she did arrive, we still had a wait...all in all we waited a little over an hour. When the gentleman arrived to led us to the dock where the water taxi was waiting, he walked very fast. My mom is in her 60's and, while she's still able to get around, she walks a little slower than a young man in his 20's especially when she has one suitcase and her carry-on. I took one piece of luggage from her, but she was still practically running to keep up with him. She was out of breath by the time we were halfway to the dock and he didn't bother to slow down or ask if she needed a hand. I was sorry I booked the service.

The boat ride it's self was great and very quick. The service was friendly, although its not a personal meeting, we only found our name by accident as we were queuing at an info desk as it was taped to the front of it! The driver didn't speak English and we got dropped at the Rialto and no where near our hotel. Basically we used this as we didn't know Venice and weren't confident in finding our hotel late on a Sunday. However we've since learned that the water buses are really easy to use, the ticket sellers will help you and they are really cheap in comparison. This is a nice experience but consider it a luxury.

First orientation at Venice Airport was a little bit strange and unusual. In most tourist regions it's easy and you simply hop on a taxi. We arrived at 0505 p.m. - but there was no staff at your guest desk at that time. Some times later, your co-worker returned and told us to join the three other guests - already waiting in a corner - but there were further people missing. Approx. one hour later no other guests had appeared, so I got a voucher for us five and so we moved to the waterfront pier were we were already awaited. The transfer by boat was very nice.

The ride was good, service could be better. Had to wait while another couple that booked the group taxi like us, got a private ride and much faster. Took longer than expected to arrive at our destination.
