Great service and good price. Only difficulty was finding the Viator desk at Venice Airport!
The water taxi and driver were great. Shared the trip with two other couples, to two other hotels, and so got a trip round the canals into the bargain, as we were the last drop off..much quicker and more relaxing than the Vaparetto. Only glitch was a confusion on the handwritten ticket we were given by the rep in the airport terminal, in giving us the number of the boat, and we assumed it was the number of the taxi stand/dock...as a result one of the other passengers started to get into the wrong taxi which caused a bit of stress..All in all though, would definitely book again!!
excellent service-we had the taxi to ourselves-sat at the back-sun shining down was fantastic-only had to wait about 5minutes before we left.definately recommend it.
Fabulous beginning to the holiday, we had an absolutely wonderful time watching the lights flash by as our driver navigated the tightest of alleyways!
I will arrive and depart in this way every single time I return!!
My flight from the U.S. was delayed, and my arrival to Venice delayed by almost seven hours. Nevertheless, I was able to get on a Viator boat in less than 30 minutes, and arrived at my hotel in good time. The boat staff assisted me with my luggage, which was a huge help for me. I will certainly book Viator if and when I return to Venice!
Well organised and helpful, Quick Transfer took about 35 to 40 mins from airport to our Hotel, This is the best way to get to and from the airport in venice.
This went well. Had to wait about 25 minutes for 4 other people to arrive before departing. Then it was 30 minutes to my hotel. Boat driver was courteous and lifted suit case off boat. The only disadvantage was that i was on my own and at time of booking I had to book and pay for 2 people as they will not accept a booking for 1 person.
Hi My husband and i traveled from Brisbane to Venice and after a long trip we did not want to try and find our own way to our Hotel. Thanks to Viator they made our very first time in Venice a much enjoyable one.
We traveled on a shared taxi and we met people from different countries. We felt sorry for a couple of ladies trying to push there luggage to the dock so my husband went to help them,as for others that were travelling on the same taxi with us didn't care and made sure that they got there.I knew that they would have to wait for us before they could leave. There attitudes were very poor, if they think that they are better they should have booked a private taxi.
The driver was very helpful and kind and he didn't mind that my husband and i stood up at the back taking in all the beautiful views Venice had to offer.
Overall the service was excellent but people must realise that it is about a 10 minute walk to the dock and with heavy luggage it can be a struggle.
My husband and I had never been to Venice before. The whole idea of a water taxi was not only intriguing (since we are sailboaters) but decadent! We loved it.... The company rep was right there at the airport door with our name printed out for easy recognition. He spoke English. I think we waited about 10 minutes for the 6 of us arriving around that time... ... So exciting! The docks were close by and the Captain, put all our luggage aboard and we were off!! They zip in and out of the channel and right over to Venetizia!! He drops everyone off according to the location of your hotel and gives you a printed map of how to find your way walking to your hotel. Ours was two blocks away! Easy!
For the ease of transporting us and luggage after an overnight flight... I loved this, it was a treat to us and I would do it again and recommend to all! Enjoy Venice... you're gonna love! Ciao!
FABULOUS! Our flight was delayed but our water taxi was waiting for us when we arrived.
It was like something out of a James Bond movie - speeding across the bay from the airport to our hotel pier in Venice.
